13:1

正當那時，有在場的人將加利利人的事告訴耶穌︰說彼拉多使屠殺加利利人，使他們流血跟祭物攙雜在一起。

There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.

13:2

耶穌應時對他們說︰「你們以為這些加利利人比加利利的大眾更為有罪、才這樣受害么？

And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?

13:3

不是的，我告訴你們﹔你們若不悔改，都必這樣滅亡。

I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

13:4

或是說，西羅亞里面的樓所壓死的那十八個人──那樓殺害他們──你們以為他們有所虧負、過于那住在耶路撒冷的眾人么？

Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?

13:5

不是的，我告訴你們﹔你們若不悔改，都必這樣滅亡。

I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

13:6

于是耶穌講這個比喻說︰「有一個人有一棵無花果樹栽在他的葡萄園里﹔他來，到樹上找果子，卻找不著。

He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

13:7

就對葡萄園工說︰『你看，我來、在這無花果樹上找果子、卻找不著，已經三年了。把它砍了吧﹔何必讓它白占地土呢？』

Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?

13:8

園工回答他說︰『主人阿，這一年也容它吧﹔等我在它周圍挖掘，撒上糞。

And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:

13:9

將來若結果子便罷﹔如果不然，你才把它砍掉』」

And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

13:10

安息日耶穌在一個會堂里教訓人。

And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.

13:11

有一個女人有病靈在身、十八年了，老彎著腰，總不能直起來。

And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.

13:12

耶穌看見她，就叫她來，對她說︰「女人，你得釋放、脫離你的病了。」

And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.

13:13

于是用兩只手按著她﹔她立刻直起腰來，就歸榮耀與上帝。

And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

13:14

會堂管事因惱怒耶穌在安息日治病，就公然對群眾說︰「有六天應當作工﹔故此六天之內盡可以來治病，可不要在安息之日阿。」

And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.

13:15

主回答他說︰「假冒為善的人哪，你們各人在安息日、不從秣槽上把牛或驢解開，牽去飲么？

The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?

13:16

這個女人，是亞伯拉罕底子孫、撒但（即︰魔鬼靈的別名）所捆鎖的、你看，已十八年了，她不應該在安息的日子得解開、脫離這鎖才么？」

And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

13:17

耶穌說了這些話，所有敵對他的人都覺得慚愧﹔全群的人因他所作一切光榮的事、盡都歡喜。

And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

13:18

于是耶穌說︰「上帝的國好像什么？我要用什么來比擬它呢？

Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it?

13:19

它好像一粒芥菜種﹔人拿了，撒在自己的園子里﹔就生長起來，成了樹﹔空中的飛鳥也棲息在它的枝子里。」

It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.

13:20

耶穌又說︰「要用什么來比擬上帝的國呢？

And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?

13:21

它好像面酵﹔婦人拿了，藏在三斗（希臘文作︰『撒特』，等于『細亞』，約一二點一二公升）面里，等到全團都發起酵來。」

It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

13:22

耶穌沿各城各村經過，教訓人，向著耶路撒冷而行。

And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.

13:23

有一個人對他說︰「主阿，得救的人少罷？」

Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,

13:24

耶穌對他們說︰「你們要奮斗，由窄門進入﹔我告訴你們，必有許多人尋求要進入，卻不能。

Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

13:25

趕到家主起來，關起門來，你們才要站在外面，敲門說︰『主阿，給我們開吧』﹔他必回答你們說︰『我不認識你們，不知道你們是哪里來的』﹔

When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

13:26

那時你們就必說︰『我們在你面前吃過喝過，你也曾在我們大街上教訓過人呀』。

Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.

13:27

他必說︰『我告訴你們，我不知道你們是哪里來的﹔一切行不義的人哪，離開我去吧。』

But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

13:28

那時你們必看見亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各、和眾神言人、在上帝國里，而你們卻被趕逐到外面﹔在那里必有哀哭和切齒。

There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

13:29

從東與西、從北與南、必有人要來，在上帝國里坐席。

And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.

13:30

你就看吧，必有末后的成了首先的，首先的成了末后的。」

And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

13:31

正當那時，有几個法利賽人上前來，對耶穌說︰「你出去，從這里往前走吧，因為希律想要殺你呢。」

The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.

13:32

耶穌對他們說︰「你們去告訴那個狐狸說︰『你看吧，今天明天我趕鬼，完成醫務，第三天我就完了。

And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.

13:33

雖然如此，今天明天、以及后天，我總必須前走，因為神言人在耶路撒冷之外喪命、是不被認為可能的。

Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.

13:34

耶路撒冷阿，耶路撒冷，你常殺害神言人，扔石頭打死奉差遣到你里面去的人。我多次愿意聚集你的兒女，仿佛母雞把自己的小雞聚集在翅膀底下，你們卻不愿意！

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!

13:35

你看吧，你們的殿（或譯︰你們的庭院）留下給你們了！我告訴你們，你們斷不得以見我，直等到你們說︰『奉主名來的是當受祝頌的！』」

Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
