7:1
|
所以親愛的，我們既有這些應許，就該潔淨自己，除去肉體上心靈上的一切沾污，以敬畏上帝之心來完成聖化。
|
|
|
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
|
|
7:2
|
你們心里讓地位給我們吧。我們沒有冤枉誰，沒有敗壞誰，沒有占過誰的便宜。
|
|
|
Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man.
|
|
7:3
|
我不是為定你們的罪而說的。我已經說過，你們在我們心頭、直可同死同活。
|
|
|
I speak not this to condemn you: for I have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die and live with you.
|
|
7:4
|
我對你們很是放心﹔我很夸獎你們﹔在我們一切的困難中、我滿得安慰，我格外有滿溢的喜樂。
|
|
|
Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.
|
|
7:5
|
雖然如，我們的身體卻一點松息也沒有﹔就是到了馬其頓、還是這樣﹔相反的，我們到凡事遭遇困難﹔外有沖突，內有憂懼。
|
|
|
For, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears.
|
|
7:6
|
但那鼓勵垂頭喪氣之人的上帝竟用提多之來到來鼓勵我們﹔
|
|
|
Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
|
|
7:7
|
不但用他的來到，也用他為你們的事所得的鼓勵來鼓勵我們。因為他把你們的切慕、你們的悲傷、跟你們為我而發的熱心、都報告了我們，以致我更加歡喜。
|
|
|
And not by his coming only, but by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced the more.
|
|
7:8
|
先前呢、我雖由書信而讓你們憂愁，后來就說是后悔罷，如今也不后悔了。我看那書信實在讓你們憂愁了，卻不過是暫時的。
|
|
|
For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season.
|
|
7:9
|
如今我歡喜，倒不是因為你們憂愁，乃是因為你們憂愁到懊悔。你們依順著上帝而憂愁，就不至于在什么事上因我們而有所虧損了。
|
|
|
Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.
|
|
7:10
|
因為依順著上帝而有的憂愁能生出不后悔的懺悔來、以至于得救﹔而世俗的憂愁卻能生出死亡。
|
|
|
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
|
|
7:11
|
你看，你們依順著上帝而憂愁，這在你們中間已生出了何等的熱切、何等的分訴、何等的憤慨、何等的危懼、何等的切慕、何等的熱誠、何等的公正責罰阿！在各方面、你們都証明自己在那事上清清白白。
|
|
|
For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.
|

7:12
|
所以我雖然寫信給你們，卻不是為那冤枉人的，也不是為那受冤枉的，無非是要把你們因顧念我們而表示的熱切、在上帝面前向你們指明出來罷了。
|
|
|
Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you.
|
|
7:13
|
故此我們得了鼓勵。在我們所得的鼓勵之外，我們還因提多的喜樂而越發歡喜，因為他的心靈從你們眾人得了暢快。
|
|
|
Therefore we were comforted in your comfort: yea, and exceedingly the more joyed we for the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all.
|
|
7:14
|
我從前就是對他夸獎你們什么，也不覺得慚愧。不，我們怎樣真真實實將一切事對你們說了，我們對提多所夸獎你們的也怎樣見得是真實。
|
|
|
For if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found a truth.
|
|
7:15
|
并同他一想起你們眾人的聽從，就是你們怎樣敬畏戰兢地接待他，他的心腸就越發向往你們了。
|
|
|
And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.
|
|
7:16
|
如今我歡喜，因為我對你們、可以完全放心了。
|
|
|
I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things.
|
