使徒保羅﹝做使徒不是由于人們，也不是藉著人，乃是藉著那穌基督、和那叫他從死人中活起來的父上帝﹞、

Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)

跟同我在一起的眾弟兄、寫信給加拉太的各教會。
|
|
|
And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:
|
|

|
愿你們由父上帝和我們的主耶穌基督（有古卷作『由上帝我們的父和主耶穌基督』）、蒙恩平安。
|
|
|
Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
|
|
1:4
|
基督照我們父上帝的旨意、為我們的罪、把自己獻出，要救拔我們脫離現在這邪惡的今世。
|
|
|
Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
|
|
1:5
|
愿榮耀歸于上帝，世世無窮！阿們（即『誠心所愿』的意思）。
|
|
|
To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
|

|
我真驚奇，你們這么輕易地離棄了那以恩召（有古卷作『以基督之恩』）了你們的，去投附別的福音。
|
|
|
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
|
|
1:7
|
其實并不是另一個福音，不過有些人攪亂你們，想要轉變基督的福音罷了。
|
|
|
Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
|
|
1:8
|
但是、雖即是我們、或是從天上來的使者、若傳福音、跟我們所傳（希臘文作『傳福音』）給你們的不同，他該被革除！
|
|
|
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
|
|
1:9
|
我們已經說過，現在我再說，若有人傳福音給你們，跟你們所領受過的不同，他該被革除！
|
|
|
As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
|
|
1:10
|
我現在是要對人要好么？還是要對上帝？或是要想法子討人喜歡么？若是還要討人喜歡，我就不要基督的仆人了。
|
|
|
For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
|
|
1:11
|
弟兄們，我要使你們知道，那由我傳（希臘文作『傳福音』）的福音并不是照人意傳的。
|
|
|
But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
|
|
1:12
|
因為我沒有從人領受過，也沒有受過教訓，我乃是藉著耶穌基督的啟示而得的。
|
|
|
For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
|
|
1:13
|
你們曾聽說我從前在猶太教中的起居為人、怎樣極力逼迫上帝的教會而殘害她，
|
|
|
For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
|
|
1:14
|
怎樣在猶太教中為我祖宗的傳統教訓格外熱心、比我族中許多同輩更為前進。
|
|
|
And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
|
|
1:15
|
然而那從我母腹分別了我、藉才的恩召了我、的上帝、
|
|
|
But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,
|
|
1:16
|
既已樂意將他的兒子啟示于我，好讓我把他傳為福音在外國人中間，立刻地、我沒有跟血肉之人商量，
|
|
|
To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
|
|
1:17
|
也沒有上耶路撒冷去見那些比我先做使徒的﹔我乃是往亞拉伯去，再回到大馬色。
|
|
|
Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
|
|

|
后來過了三年，我才上耶路撒冷去拜訪磯法，在他那里停留了十五天。
|
|
|
Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.

|
至于別的使徒呢、除了主的兄弟雅各、我都沒有見。
|
|
|
But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.
|
|

|
我所寫給你們的、你看、在上帝面前、我不撒謊。
|
|
|
Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.
|
|

|
后來我到了敘亞利和基利家地帶。
|
|
|
Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
|
|
1:22
|
那時我還是猶太在基督里的眾教會所沒見面認識的。
|
|
|
And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:
|
|
1:23
|
他們不過聽說、那從前直逼迫我們的、如今卻把他從前所殘害的信仰傳為福音了﹔
|
|
|
But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.
|
|
1:24
|
他們就因我的緣故而榮耀上帝。
|
|
|
And they glorified God in me.
|
