3:1

所以聖別的弟兄們，與分于天上之召喚的阿，你們要留心思想我們所信認的『使徒』、大祭司耶穌。

Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

3:2

他對設立他的忠信，如同摩西在上帝（希臘文作︰他）家中忠信一樣。

Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.

3:3

然而、建設家的比家尊貴﹔這位耶穌也就照這分量被斷為比摩西更配多得榮耀了。

For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.

3:4

﹝凡家總是由人建設的﹔惟獨建設萬有的乃是上帝。﹞

For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.

3:5

摩西在上帝全家忠信，他不過是做侍役，做以后要被宣講的事之表証而已。

And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;

3:6

但基督治理上帝（希臘文作︰他）的家呢、乃是做兒子。我們呢、就是上帝的家，如果我們持守這因盼望而有的大膽與夸勝──的話。

But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

3:7

所以──照聖靈所說的︰「今日你們如果聽見他的聲音，

Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,

3:8

就不可硬著心，像在曠野惹他發怒時、試探他的日子一樣﹔

Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

3:9

在那里，你們的祖宗以試驗試探我，看我的作為四十年。

When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

3:10

所以我厭惡那世代說︰『他們永是心里失迷，不認識我的道路的﹔

Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.

3:11

我就帶著義怒起誓說︰『他們斷不得以進我的安息』」──

So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

3:12

所以弟兄們，你們要謹慎，恐怕你們中間有人存著不信之邪惡心，以至于背棄了永活的上帝。

Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

3:13

你們總要趁著還有叫做『今日』的時候、天天彼此鼓勵，免得你們中間有人因了罪惡之誘惑而變剛愎。

But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

3:14

﹝因為我們如果持守起初的確信，堅定不移到末了，我們就成了與分基督的人了﹞──

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

3:15

到以下這句話還在說得響的時候︰「今日你們如果聽見他的聲音，就不可硬著心，像惹他發怒一樣。」

While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

3:16

當時聽而惹他發怒的是誰呢？豈不是那些由摩西領導出埃及的眾人么？

For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.

3:17

上帝（希臘文作︰他）四十年厭惡誰呢？豈不是那些犯了罪、尸首倒在曠野的人么？

But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?

3:18

他向誰起誓說、他們必不得以進入他的安息呢？豈不是向那些硬不信從的人是向誰呢？

And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?

3:19

這樣、我們就看清楚了，他們不能進入，是因為不信的緣故。

So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

因此，同蒙天召的聖潔弟兄們，請思想我們所認信的使徒和大祭司基督耶穌，

Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus,

他設立忠於那任命他的，正如摩西在他的全家忠心一樣

who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house.

3

因為這一位比摩西更配得榮耀，因為建造房屋的祂比房屋更尊貴。

For this One has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who built the house has more honor than the house.

4

因為每個房屋都是有人建造的，但建造萬物的是神。

For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God.

5

摩西作為僕人，在神 上帝全家確實忠心，為以後要說的事作見證，

And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward,

6

但基督作為兒子在他自己的家中，如果我們將希望的信心和喜樂堅持到底，我們就是他的家。

but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.

7

因此，正如聖靈（光星）所說：“今天，如果你願意聽到他的聲音，

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: "Today, if you will hear His voice,

8

不要讓你的心剛硬 就像在叛亂中，在曠野試探時候一樣。

Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, In the day of trial in the wilderness,

9

在那裡、你們的祖宗試我探我、並且觀看我的作為、有四十年之久。

Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, And saw My works forty years.

10

所以我（神）對那一時代人很生氣，說：“他們心裡總是走偏，不知道我的道。”

Therefore I was angry with that generation, And said, 'They always go astray in their heart, And they have not known My ways.'

11

所以我（神）在憤怒中發誓，他們不會進入我的安息。

So I swore in My wrath, 'They shall not enter My rest.'"

12

弟兄們，要小心，免得你們中間有人存着不信和邪惡的心，離開永活的神 上帝。

Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God;

13

但是，趁著還有“今天”的時候，每天彼此勸勉，免得你們中的任何人，因罪惡的欺騙而變得剛硬。

But exhort one another daily, while it is called "Today," lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

14

因為 如果我們把信心的開始，持守到底，我們就與基督有分了，

For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end,

15

經上說: 你們今天若聽他的聲音，就不要硬着心，像惹他發怒的日子一樣。

While it is said: "Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion."

16

那時 有些聽見的人，惹他（神）發怒，只是跟着摩西從埃及出來的不是所有人都如此？

For who, having heard, rebelled? Indeed, was it not all who came out of Egypt, led by Moses?

17

神 上帝四十年之久，爲誰憂傷呢？難道不是那些犯罪，屍首倒在曠野的人嗎？

Now with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness?

18

又向誰起誓，他們必不進入他的安息呢，難道不是向那些不信的人嗎？

And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey?

19

這樣看來，他們不能進入是因爲不信。

So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
