有禍阿！這流人血的城！盡是謊詐，充滿著劫掠﹔搶奪的事總離不了。
|
|
|
Woe to the bloody city! it is all full of lies and robbery; the prey departeth not;
|
|
3:2
|
阿，鞭子的劈啪聲！阿，車輪之轟轟響！駿馬踢跳飛跑！戰車顛簸跳動！
|
|
|
The noise of a whip, and the noise of the rattling of the wheels, and of the pransing horses, and of the jumping chariots.
|
|
3:3
|
軍馬騰躍著沖鋒﹔刀劍閃閃發光，槍矛爍爍發亮﹔被刺殺的眾多，尸首堆疊慘重﹔尸身任數不盡，人都跌在尸首堆上！
|
|
|
The horseman lifteth up both the bright sword and the glittering spear: and there is a multitude of slain, and a great number of carcases; and there is none end of their corpses; they stumble upon their corpses:

3:4
|
都因麗質艷姿的淫婦行邪朮的老手（希伯來文︰主母）淫行之繁多﹔她用她的淫行誘騙（希伯來文︰出賣）著列國，用她的邪朮迷惑萬族之民。
|
|
|
Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the wellfavoured harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts.
|
|
3:5
|
萬軍之永恆主發神諭說︰看哪，我與你為敵﹔我必揭露你的裙子到你臉上，使列國見你的下體，使列邦看你的陰部。
|
|
|
Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts; and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will shew the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame.
|
|
3:6
|
我必將猥褻物扔在你身上，沒辱你，使你成了有目共睹的笑柄。
|
|
|
And I will cast abominable filth upon thee, and make thee vile, and will set thee as a gazingstock.
|
|
3:7
|
將來凡看見你的都必躲避你，說︰『尼尼微毀滅了﹔有誰為她悲傷呢？』我可從哪里尋得安慰你的人呢？
|
|
|
And it shall come to pass, that all they that look upon thee shall flee from thee, and say, Nineveh is laid waste: who will bemoan her? whence shall I seek comforters for thee?
|
|
3:8
|
你哪能比挪亞們（即︰底庇斯）強呢？挪亞們（即︰底庇斯）坐落在尼羅河流之間，周圍有水﹔海做她的外郭（『海』指尼羅河而言。『外郭』或譯︰濠溝）水做她的城牆？
|
|
|
Art thou better than populous No, that was situate among the rivers, that had the waters round about it, whose rampart was the sea, and her wall was from the sea?
|
|
3:9
|
古實和埃及是她的力量，就是無窮盡的﹔弗人和路比族是她的（傳統︰你的）助手。
|
|
|
Ethiopia and Egypt were her strength, and it was infinite; Put and Lubim were thy helpers.
|
|
3:10
|
然而她卻成了流亡人、被擄到外國去了﹔她的嬰孩在各街頭上被摔死了﹔人為她的尊貴人拈鬮，她所有的大官都被鎖才鎖著。
|
|
|
Yet was she carried away, she went into captivity: her young children also were dashed in pieces at the top of all the streets: and they cast lots for her honourable men, and all her great men were bound in chains.
|
|
3:11
|
你，你也必喝醉，昏昏醚醚﹔你必尋求逃難所、以避仇敵。
|
|
|
Thou also shalt be drunken: thou shalt be hid, thou also shalt seek strength because of the enemy.
|
|
3:12
|
你所有的堡壘、簡直是無花果樹，有早熟的無花果﹔倘若被搖撼，就落在想吃的人口中。
|
|
|
All thy strong holds shall be like fig trees with the firstripe figs: if they be shaken, they shall even fall into the mouth of the eater.
|
|
3:13
|
看哪，你的兵眾在你中間簡直是婦人女子﹔你國土的門戶都向仇敵敞開著﹔你的門閂、火燒燒毀了。
|
|
|
Behold, thy people in the midst of thee are women: the gates of thy land shall be set wide open unto thine enemies: the fire shall devour thy bars.
|
|
3:14
|
受圍困用的水、你盡管打呀！你的堡壘、你盡管加強設備阿！你盡管 泥、盡管踐踏泥土！盡管抓緊磚模阿！
|
|
|
Draw thee waters for the siege, fortify thy strong holds: go into clay, and tread the morter, make strong the brickkiln.
|
|
3:15
|
就在那里、火就要燒滅你了，刀劍就要剪滅你，吞滅你、像蝻子吞吃五谷。任你增多如蝻子吧！任你增多如蝗虫吧！
|
|
|
There shall the fire devour thee; the sword shall cut thee off, it shall eat thee up like the cankerworm: make thyself many as the cankerworm, make thyself many as the locusts.
|
|
3:16
|
任你增加你的行商多過天上的星辰吧！蝻子脫了殼、就飛走了。
|
|
|
Thou hast multiplied thy merchants above the stars of heaven: the cankerworm spoileth, and fleeth away.
|
|
3:17
|
你的守衛（意難確定）雖多如蝗虫，你的招募員（意難確定）雖多如螞蚱群──天涼時駐扎在籬笆上，日頭一出，便都飛走，其住處在哪里、就無人知了。
|
|
|
Thy crowned are as the locusts, and thy captains as the great grasshoppers, which camp in the hedges in the cold day, but when the sun ariseth they flee away, and their place is not known where they are.
|
|
3:18
|
亞述王阿，你的牧民者在睡覺呢！你的貴族在安歇著呢！你的人民四散在山間，無人招聚呢！
|
|
|
Thy shepherds slumber, O king of Assyria: thy nobles shall dwell in the dust: thy people is scattered upon the mountains, and no man gathereth them.
|
|
3:19
|
你的破爛無法減輕，你受的擊傷很厲害呀。凡聽見你這消息的都拍掌笑你，因為你不斷的壞行徑、誰沒受過害呢？
|
|
|
There is no healing of thy bruise; thy wound is grievous: all that hear the bruit of thee shall clap the hands over thee: for upon whom hath not thy wickedness passed continually?
