17:1
|
永恆主阿，求你聽理直的案件，留心聽我的喊求，側耳聽我的祈禱，這不出于詭詐嘴唇的禱告。

|
Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.
|
|
17:2
|
愿判我理直的話從你面前發出﹔愿你的眼察看正直。
|
|
|
Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.
|
|
17:3
|
你試驗了我的心﹔你夜里鑒察我﹔你熬煉我，卻找不著我有惡念：我的口沒有過犯。
|
|
|
Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.
|
|
17:4
|
論到人的行為、我借著你嘴唇的話自己謹守，不行于凶暴人的路徑。
|
|
|
Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.
|
|
17:5
|
我的步伐踏定于你的轍跡上，我的腳步未曾滑跌。
|
|
|
Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.
|
|
17:6
|
我，我是呼求你的，因為上帝阿，你總應我﹔求你傾耳聽我，聽我的話語。
|
|
|
I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.
|
|
17:7
|
拯救者阿，你這用用右手拯救那避難于你里面、以脫離于你里面、以脫離那起來攻擊他們的阿，求你將你的堅愛奇妙地顯出。
|
|
|
Shew thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them.
|
|
17:8
|
求你保護我，像瞳人、眼中之女﹔將我隱藏在你翅膀的蔭下，
|
|
|
Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,
|
|
17:9
|
脫離那掠劫我、的惡人，那以貪欲圍攻我、的仇敵。
|
|
|
From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.
|
|
17:10
|
他們把心（原文：橫隔膜）包油、給閉塞住﹔又弄口舌揚揚得意地說話。
|
|
|
They are inclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly.
|
|
17:11
|
現在他們圍困了我（傳統：我們）的步伐﹔他們瞪著眼、要把我推倒于地上。
|
|
|
They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth;

17:12
|
他像獅子急于抓撕掠物，又像少壯獅子蹲伏于藏匿處。
|
|
|
Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.
|
|
17:13
|
永恆主阿，求你起來，迎面攻擊他，使他屈身而死﹔用你的刀解救我的性命脫離惡人，
|
|
|
Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:
|
|
17:14
|
永恆主阿，伸手救我脫離這些人，脫離今世之人，其業分只在今生的。你把你的藏寶充滿他們的肚腹﹔他們因有兒女而心滿意足﹔便將余剩的財物留給他們的嬰孩（或譯：永恆主阿，求你伸手殺死他們，殺死他們離開人世，離開他們在活人中間的業分）。

From men which are thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.
|

17:15
|
至于我呢、我必在公義中瞻養你的聖容﹔我醒了時，就以你的形像而心滿意足。
|
|
|
As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.
