4:1

耶穌在海邊又開始教訓人。有頂大群的人聚集到他四圍，他只得上船在海上坐著﹔全群的人都在岸上，靠近著海。
|
|
|
And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land.
|
|
4:2
|
耶穌就用比喻教訓了他們許多事。當教訓的時候，他對他們說︰
|
|
|
And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine,
|
|
4:3
|
「你們要聽！看哪，有一個撒種的出去撒種﹔
|
|
|
Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:
|
|
4:4
|
撒的時候，有的落在路旁﹔飛鳥一來，把它吃盡了。
|
|
|
And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.
|
|
4:5
|
另有的落在石頭地上，沒有許多土的地方﹔因為沒有深的土，它立刻長出苗來﹔
|
|
|
And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:
|
|
4:6
|
日頭一出，就晒焦了﹔因為沒有根，便枯乾了。
|
|
|
But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
|
|
4:7
|
另有的落到荊棘里，荊棘長起來，把它悶煞了，就不結實。
|
|
|
And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
|
|
4:8
|
另有的落到好土里，發生長大，結著果實，結成了三十倍、六十倍、一百倍。」﹔
|
|
|
And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.
|
|
4:9
|
他又說︰「有耳可聽的，應當聽。」
|
|
|
And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
|
|
4:10
|
耶穌獨在的時候，那些跟著他的、同那十二個人、將比喻問他。
|
|
|
And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.
|
|
4:11
|
耶穌對他們說︰「上帝國的奧秘是給予你們的﹔至于外人呢、一切都用比喻﹔
|
|
|
And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:
|
|
4:12
|
使『他們看了又看，卻看不見﹔聽了又聽，卻不曉悟﹔免得他們回轉過來，而得赦免！』」
|
|
|
That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.
|
|
4:13
|
耶穌又對他們說︰「你們不曉得這比喻么？怎能明白一切比喻呢？
|
|
|
And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?
|
|
4:14
|
那撒種的是撒著道。
|
|
|
The sower soweth the word.
|
|
4:15
|
那些在路旁的是︰道撒在那里，人聽的時候，撒但（即︰魔鬼的別名）立刻來，把撒在他們心里的道奪了去。
|
|
|
And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
|
|
4:16
|
同樣地，那些撒在石頭地上的是︰人聽了道，立刻歡歡喜喜地領受，
|
|
|
And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
|
|
4:17
|
自己心里卻沒有根，只是暫時的﹔后來為了道遭遇苦難或逼迫，立刻就絆跌了。
|
|
|
And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.
|
|
4:18
|
另有的是那些撒在荊棘里的︰這些是人聽了道，
|
|
|
And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
|
|
4:19
|
而今世的才慮、財富的娛樂、和一些其他事物的私欲、走進來，把道悶煞，他便不能結實。
|
|
|
And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
|
|
4:20
|
但那些撒在好土上的，是那聽了道就接受的﹔他們結了實︰三十倍、六十倍、一百倍。」
|
|
|
And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
|
|
4:21
|
耶穌對他們說︰「燈來了，哪是要放在斗底下或床底下呢？不是要放在燈台上么？
|
|
|
And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick?
|
|
4:22
|
因為沒有隱藏的事而不是要顯露出來的﹔也沒有隱秘的事而不是要歸于明顯的。
|
|
|
For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.
|
|
4:23
|
人若有耳可聽，就應當聽。」
|
|
|
If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
|
|
4:24
|
他又對他們說︰「要留心于你們所聽的︰你們用什么量器來量，就要照什么量器量給你們﹔并且要多加給你們。
|
|
|
And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.
|
|
4:25
|
因為有的，要給他﹔沒有的，連他所有的，也要從他手里被奪去。」
|
|
|
For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.
|
|
4:26
|
耶穌說︰「上帝的國是這樣︰如同人撒種子在地上，
|
|
|
And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;
|
|
4:27
|
黑夜睡覺，白日起來︰種子發芽，漸漸長大，他不曉得怎樣。
|
|
|
And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.
|
|
4:28
|
地生果實，出于自然︰先苗后穗，然后穗上丰滿的麥子。
|
|
|
For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.
|
|
4:29
|
果實可收成的時候，他立刻遣用鐮刀，因為收割的時候到了。」
|
|
|
But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.
|
|
4:30
|
耶穌說︰「我們要怎樣比擬上帝的國呢？或是說︰要用什么比喻來表明它呢？
|
|
|
And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?
|
|
4:31
|
它好像一粒芥菜種，種在地上的時候，雖比地上任何種子都小，
|
|
|
It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
|
|
4:32
|
但種上了以后就發生，成了比任何蔬菜都大，又長出大枝子來，甚至空中的飛鳥也能棲息在它的陰影之下。」
|
|
|
But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.
|
|
4:33
|
耶穌用了許多這樣的比喻、照他們所曉得聽的、對他們講道。
|
|
|
And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear it.
|
|
4:34
|
不用比喻，就不對他們講﹔私下里才對門徒解釋一切。
|
|
|
But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.
|
|
4:35
|
當那一天，到了傍晚，耶穌對他們說︰「我們渡到那邊去吧。」
|
|
|
And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.
|
|
4:36
|
他們就離開群眾，照他在船上的情況把他帶走﹔還有別的船也跟他在一起。
|
|
|
And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
|
|
4:37
|
當下起了大暴風，波浪潑進船內，甚至船簡直滿了！
|
|
|
And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
|
|
4:38
|
耶穌竟在船尾上靠著枕頭睡覺呢﹔門徒就叫醒了他，對他說︰「老師，我們喪命，你不在意么？」
|
|
|
And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
|
|
4:39
|
耶穌醒起來，斥責那風，向海說︰「不要作聲！噤默罷！」那風不狂吹，便大大平靜了。
|
|
|
And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
|
|
4:40
|
耶穌對他們說︰「為什么這么膽怯呢？怎么沒有信心呢？」
|
|
|
And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
|
|
4:41
|
他們就大起了敬畏的心，直彼此說︰「這個人到底是誰？連風和海也聽從他！」
|
|
|
And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
|
