8:1

過了不久，耶穌旅行各城各村，宣告（通譯︰宣傳）并傳揚上帝的國為福音。那十二個人和他同行﹔

And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him,

8:2

還有几個曾得治好、脫離邪靈和疾病的婦女︰其中有稱為抹大拉的馬利亞、曾有七個鬼從她身上出來的、

And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,

8:3

和希律的理事苦撒的妻子約亞拿、跟蘇撒拿和許多別的婦女、就是常用自己的資財供應耶穌和門徒（希臘文︰他們）的。

And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.

8:4

有許多群眾聚攏來，有從一城一城出來的人陸續走到耶穌那里，耶穌就用比喻說︰

And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable:

8:5

「有一個撒種的出去撒種他的種子﹔撒的時候、有的落在路旁，被踐踏﹔空中的飛鳥把它吃盡了。

A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.

8:6

另有別的落在磐石上，長起來﹔因為得不著滋潤，就枯乾了。

And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.

8:7

另有別的落在荊棘中﹔荊棘一同長起來，把它悶住了。

And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.

8:8

另有別的落到好土里，就長起來，結了實、一百倍。」耶穌說了這些話，就大聲說︰「有耳可聽的、應當聽。」

And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

8:9

門徒問耶穌這比喻有什么意思。

And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?

8:10

耶穌說︰「上帝國的奧秘是給你們知道的﹔對于其他的人呢、就用比喻，使他們看是看，卻看不見﹔聽是聽，卻不曉悟！

And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

8:11

這比喻就是︰那種子、是上帝之道。

Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

8:12

那些在路旁的、是人聽了道，隨后魔鬼來了，就從他們心里把道奪去，使他們不至于信而得救。

Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

8:13

那些在磐石上的、是人聽了道、就歡歡喜喜地接受﹔這些沒有根，是暫時相信的﹔在受試煉時就背棄了。

They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

8:14

那落到荊棘里的、是人聽了道，走了以后、就被人生的才慮財富和快樂悶煞了，結不出成熟的子粒來。

And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

8:15

但那在好土里的、是那以誠實而善良之心聽了道的﹔他們持守著，又在堅忍中結實。

But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

8:16

「沒有人點了燈、而用器皿遮蓋著、或放在床底下的﹔他乃是放在燈台上，讓走進來的人看見了光。

No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.

8:17

因為隱藏的事沒有不成為顯明的﹔隱秘的事也沒有絕不被知道而不至于明顯的。

For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.

8:18

所以你們要謹慎怎樣地聽﹔因為凡有的，還要給他﹔凡沒有的，連他所以為有的，也要從他手里被奪去。」』

Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.

8:19

耶穌的母親和弟兄來到耶穌那里﹔因為群眾、不能跟他相會。

Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press.

8:20

有人告訴他說︰「你母親和你弟兄站在外邊，想要見你呢。」

And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee.

8:21

耶穌卻回答他們說︰「我母親、我弟兄么，這些聽上帝之道而實行的人就是阿。」

And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.

8:22

這些日子有一天，耶穌和他的門徒上了船﹔對他們說︰「我們渡到湖那邊去吧」﹔他們就開船。

Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.

8:23

正行的時候、耶穌睡著了。有一陣暴風下到湖上來了﹔他們滿了水，危險著呢！

But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy.

8:24

就上前來，喚醒了耶穌，說︰「老師，老師，我們喪命啦！」耶穌醒起來，斥責那風和水上的大浪。風浪止息，便平靜了。

And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.

8:25

耶穌對他們說︰「你們的信心在哪里？」他們就起了敬畏和希奇的心，彼此說︰「這個人到底是誰？他居然吩咐了風和水，風和水也聽從他！」

And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.

8:26

他們到了格迦薩（有古卷︰『加大拉』或『格拉森』）人的地區，就是加利利的對面。

And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee.

8:27

耶穌一出來，上了岸，就有一個城里的人、有鬼附著的、迎面而來。這個人好久不穿衣裳，不住房屋，只住在塋墓中間。

And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.

8:28

他看見了耶穌，就高聲喊叫起來，拜倒在他面前，大聲說︰「至高上帝的兒子耶穌，我與你何干？祈求你別使我受苦痛哦。」

When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not.

8:29

因為耶穌曾囑咐污靈從那人身上出來。原來那污靈曾經多次抓住了他﹔他是常被看守著，又用鎖才和腳鐐捆鎖好的﹔他竟把捆鎖的掙斷，被鬼催迫到野地來了。

(For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.)

8:30

耶穌問他說︰「你名叫什么？」他說︰「軍團」，因為許多鬼進他里面。

And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.

8:31

鬼求耶穌不要吩咐他們往無底坑去。

And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep.

8:32

那里有好大群的豬正在山上才著﹔鬼就求耶穌准他們進豬里面去。他准了他們。

And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them.

8:33

鬼就從那人身上出來，進入豬里面﹔那一群闖下山崖、到湖里去，淹死了。

Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked.

8:34

才的人看見所發生的事，就逃跑，在城里在鄉下傳報開了。

When they that fed them saw what was done, they fled, and went and told it in the city and in the country.

8:35

眾人就出來，要看所發生的事﹔到了耶穌那里，看見鬼所由出的那人穿著衣裳、神智清明、坐在耶穌腳旁，他們就害怕。

Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.

8:36

看見的人將那被鬼附過的人怎樣地得救治、告訴他們。

They also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed.

8:37

格迦薩（有古卷︰『加大拉』或『格拉森』）周圍地區所有的眾民、因被大懼怕所困迫、就求耶穌離開他們。耶穌便上船回去了。

Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear: and he went up into the ship, and returned back again.

8:38

鬼所由出的那人祈求耶穌、要跟他在一起﹔耶穌卻打發他走，說︰

Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying,

8:39

「回你家去，敘說上帝為你作了多么大的事。」那人就去，在全城里各處宣傳耶穌為他作了多么大的事。

Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.

8:40

耶穌回來的時候，群眾歡迎﹔大家都等候著他。

And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.

8:41

忽有一個人來了，他名叫睚魯﹔這個人是個管會堂的管事。他俯伏在耶穌腳旁，求耶穌進他的家﹔

And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him that he would come into his house:

8:42

因為他有一個獨生女兒、約有十二歲、快要死了。耶穌去的時候，群眾擠著他。

For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as he went the people thronged him.

8:43

有一個女人患了血漏病己經十二年的﹔（有古卷加︰她在醫生手里花盡了全部養生之資）都沒有人能治好她。

And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,

8:44

她來到耶穌背后，摸耶穌的衣裳扛子（有古卷無︰扛子）﹔她的血漏立時止住了。

Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.

8:45

耶穌說︰「摸我的是誰？」都沒有人承認，彼得就說︰「老師，是群眾圍著你，逼著你呢。」

And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?

8:46

耶穌說︰「總有人摸我﹔因為我覺得有能力從我身上出去。」

And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.

8:47

那女人見藏不住，就戰戰兢兢地來，拜倒在耶穌跟前，把摸他的緣由、和怎樣立時得醫治的事、在眾民面前都訴說出來。

And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.

8:48

耶穌就對她說︰「女兒，你的信救了你了﹔安心去吧！」

And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.

8:49

耶穌還說著話的時候，有人從會堂管事家里來，說︰「你的女兒死了，別再麻煩先生了。」

While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.

8:50

耶穌聽見了，就應時對他說︰「別怕了，只要信，她就會得救治的。」

But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.

8:51

來到那家的時候，耶穌不許任何人同他進去，只許彼得約翰雅各跟那女孩子的父親和母親。

And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.

8:52

眾人都為女孩子哭泣捶胸。耶穌說︰「別哭了﹔她并沒死掉，只是睡著。」

And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.

8:53

他們直嗤笑耶穌，曉得她已經死掉了。

And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.

8:54

耶穌卻握住她的手，呼喊說︰「女孩子，起來！」

And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.

8:55

她的靈便回來，她立時就起來了︰耶穌吩咐要給她東西吃。

And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat.

8:56

她父母非常地驚奇﹔耶穌卻囑咐他們不要將所遇見的事告訴人。

And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.
