16:1
|
耶穌也對門徒說︰「一個財主有一個管家﹔有人向他進讒言，說這個人揮霍主人的資財。
|
|
|
And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.
|
|
16:2
|
主人就叫管家來，對他說︰『我所聽見關于你的這件事、怎么樣阿？把你的管家職事交代明白吧﹔你不能再作管家了。』
|
|
|
And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.
|
|
16:3
|
那管家心里說︰『我主人要把管家職事給我撒了，我要作什么？鋤地呢、無力﹔叫化呢，怕羞！
|
|
|
Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.
|
|
16:4
|
我知道要怎么作了，好叫人們、在我被黜了管家職事以后、可以接納我到他們家里去。』
|
|
|
I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.
|
|
16:5
|
于是把他主人的每一個欠債的叫來，對頭一個說︰『你欠我主人多少？』
|
|
|
So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord?
|
|
16:6
|
他說︰『一百簍（希臘文︰『罷特』﹔約等于三十六點三七公升）油。』他對他說︰『把你的帳單接過去，趕快坐下去寫五十。』
|
|
|
And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.
|
|
16:7
|
然后對另一個說︰『你、欠多少？』他說︰『一百石（希臘文︰『柯珥』，即是『賀梅珥』﹔約等于三十六點三七公升）麥子。』他對他說︰『把你的帳單接過去，寫八十。』
|
|
|
Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore.
|
|
16:8
|
主人就稱贊這不義的管家作事精明。因為對付自己的世代，今世之子竟比亮光之子更精明了。
|
|
|
And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.
|
|
16:9
|
我告訴你們，要用不義的錢財結交朋友，到了錢財無用的時候，你們便可以被接納到永世的帳幕里去。
|
|
|
And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.
|
|
16:10
|
在最小的上頭可靠的，在多的上頭也必可靠﹔在最小的上頭不義的，在多的上頭也必不義。
|
|
|
He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
|
|
16:11
|
所以你們若在不義的財錢上顯為不可靠，誰還把那真的信托你們呢？
|
|
|
If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
|
|
16:12
|
你們若在別人的事物上顯為不可靠，誰還把你們自己的給你們呢？
|
|
|
And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?
|
|
16:13
|
一個家仆不能做兩個主的仆人，因為他不是會厭惡這一個而愛那一個，就是會依付這一個而不顧那一個。你們不能又做上帝的仆人，又做錢財的仆人。」
|
|
|
No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
|
|
16:14
|
法利賽人是貪愛錢財的﹔他們聽見這一切話，就嗤笑耶穌。
|
|
|
And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.
|
|
16:15
|
耶穌對他們說︰「你們在人面前自以為義，上帝卻知道你們的心︰因為在人中間高貴的、在上帝面前卻是可憎。
|
|
|
And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
|
|
16:16
|
「律法和神言人到約翰為止﹔從此上帝國的福音就傳開了，人人用力擠著要進入。
|
|
|
The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
|
|
16:17
|
然而天地之過去，比律法一鉤之廢墮還容易呢！
|
|
|
And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.
|
|
16:18
|
「凡離棄妻子、同別人結婚的、是犯奸淫﹔同男人所離棄的人結婚的、也是犯奸淫。
|
|
|
Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.
|
|
16:19
|
「有一個財主素常穿著紫色袍和細麻布衣服，天天奢華宴樂。
|
|
|
There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
|
|
16:20
|
又有一個討飯的名叫拉撒路，躺在他的大門口，生著瘡﹔
|
|
|
And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
|
|
16:21
|
巴不得從財主桌子上掉下來的東西以得吃飽。不但如此，連狗還來才他的瘡呢！
|
|
|
And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
|
|
16:22
|
那討飯的死了﹔他被天使帶走，到亞伯拉罕懷里。那財主也死了，并且埋葬了。
|
|
|
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
|
|
16:23
|
他在陰間、一直在痛苦中﹔一舉目竟望見亞伯拉罕在遠處，拉撒路在亞伯拉罕懷里呢。
|
|
|
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
|
|
16:24
|
他就呼喊說︰『我祖亞伯拉罕哪，憐恤我吧！打發拉撒路用指頭尖兒蘸水涼涼我的舌頭吧﹔因為我在這火焰中、極其慘苦阿。』
|
|
|
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
|
|
16:25
|
亞伯拉罕說︰『孩子，你該回想你一生受盡了你的美物，而拉撒路也照樣受盡了禍患﹔如今他在這里得慰藉，你倒受慘苦了！
|
|
|
But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
|
|
16:26
|
況且在一切之中、在我們和你們之間、還有個大空隙立著呢，叫那些想要從這邊些邊過去到你們那邊的、無能為力﹔人也不能從那邊越過來到我們這邊。』
|
|
|
And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
|
|
16:27
|
財主說︰『我祖阿，既然如此，就求你打發拉撒路到我父家去﹔
|
|
|
Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
|
|
16:28
|
因為我有五個弟兄﹔他可以鄭重警告他們，免得他們也來到這苦痛的地方阿。』
|
|
|
For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
|
|
16:29
|
亞伯拉罕說︰『他們有摩西和神言人，讓他們聽他們吧。』
|
|
|
Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
|
|
16:30
|
他說︰『我祖亞伯拉罕哪，不是的﹔若有人從死人中往他們那里去，他們就會悔改的。』
|
|
|
And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
|
|
16:31
|
亞伯拉罕對他說︰『他們若不聽摩西和神言人，就使有一個從死人中復起了，他們還是不確信的。』」
|
|
|
And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
