于是各人都往自己家里去了﹔耶穌卻往橄欖山去。
|
|
|
Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.
|
|
8:2
|
清早又到殿里﹔眾民都到他那里﹔他就坐下，教訓他們。
|
|
|
And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.
|
|
8:3
|
經學士和法利賽人帶著一個行淫時被捉著的婦人來﹔叫她站在當中，
|
|
|
And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
|
|
8:4
|
就對耶穌說︰「先生，這婦人正受奸污時被捉著了。
|
|
|
They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
|
|
8:5
|
摩西在律法上囑咐我們把這樣的婦人用石頭打死。那么你呢，你怎么說呢？」
|
|
|
Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
|
|
8:6
|
他們說這話，是試探耶穌，要得把柄以控告他。耶穌卻彎下腰，用指頭畫字在地上。
|
|
|
This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
|
|
8:7
|
他們還繼續地詰問他，耶穌就直起腰來，對他們說︰「你們中間無罪的先扔石頭打她。」
|
|
|
So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
|
|
8:8
|
于是又彎下腰，寫字在地上。
|
|
|
And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
|
|
8:9
|
他們聽了，就一個一個地出去，從老的起﹔只留下耶穌一人，而那婦人在當中。
|
|
|
And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
|
|
8:10
|
耶穌就直起腰來，對她說︰「婦人，他們在哪里？沒有人定你的罪么？」
|
|
|
When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
|
|
8:11
|
她說︰「主阿，沒有。」耶穌說︰「我、也不定你的罪﹔去吧﹔從今以后、不要再犯罪了。」）
|
|
|
She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
|
|
8:12
|
于是耶穌又對眾人講論說︰「我是世界的光，跟從我的一定不在黑暗里走，卻要得著生命之光。」﹞
|
|
|
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
|
|
8:13
|
法利賽人就對耶穌說︰「你為自己作見証﹔你的見証不真實。」
|
|
|
The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.
|
|
8:14
|
耶穌回答他們說︰「我就使為自己作見証，我的見証還是真實，因為我知道我從哪里來，要往哪里去﹔你們卻不知道我從哪里來，要往哪里去。
|
|
|
Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.
|
|
8:15
|
你們按肉身而判斷﹔我卻不判斷什么人。
|
|
|
Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.
|
|
8:16
|
即使判斷，我的判斷還是真實，因為我不是獨自一人，乃是有我、還有那差我來的。
|
|
|
And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
|
|
8:17
|
你們自己的律法上也記著說︰『兩個人的見証就真實』。
|
|
|
It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.
|
|
8:18
|
我如今是有我為自己作見証，還有那差我的父也為我作見証。」
|
|
|
I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.
|
|
8:19
|
于是他們對耶穌說︰「你的父在哪里？」耶穌回答說︰「你們不認識我，也不認識我的父﹔你們如果認識我，也就認識我的父了。」
|
|
|
Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.
|
|
8:20
|
這些話是耶穌在殿里教訓人、在奉獻柜那里講的﹔卻沒有人逮他，因為他的鐘點還沒有到。
|
|
|
These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.
|
|
8:21
|
于是耶穌又對他們說︰「我要去了﹔你們必尋求我，并且必死在你們的罪中﹔我所去的地方、你們不能到。」
|
|
|
Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.
|
|
8:22
|
猶太人就說︰「他說『我所去的地方、你們不能到』，難道他要自殺么？」
|
|
|
Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.
|
|
8:23
|
耶穌對他們說︰「你們是屬下的，我是屬上的﹔你們是屬這世界的，我不是屬這世界的。
|
|
|
And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
|
|
8:24
|
所以我對你們說了，你們必死在你們的罪中。因為你們若不信我永在，你們就必死在你們的罪中。」
|
|
|
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
|
|
8:25
|
于是他們問穌說︰「你、是誰？」耶穌對他們說︰「總而言之，就是我同你們所講論的。
|
|
|
Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.
|
|
8:26
|
我有許多要說你們，要判斷你們的﹔但那差我的是真實，我只把我從他所聽見的這些事、對世人說出來罷了。」
|
|
|
I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.
|
|
8:27
|
他們不明白耶穌是指著父而對他們說的。
|
|
|
They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
|
|
8:28
|
所以耶穌說︰「什么時候你們舉起了人子，那時候你們就知道我永在，并且我不憑著自己作什么事，我乃是照父所教訓我的、說了這些話。
|
|
|
Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
|
|
8:29
|
那差我的與我同在﹔他沒有撇下我獨自一人，因為我始終都作他所喜歡的事。」
|
|
|
And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
|
|
8:30
|
耶穌說了這些話，就有許多人信他。
|
|
|
As he spake these words, many believed on him.
|
|
8:31
|
于是耶穌對已經信他的猶太人說︰「你們若持守著我的道，就真是我的門徒了﹔
|
|
|
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
|
|
8:32
|
你們必認識真理，真理就必使你們得自主。」
|
|
|
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
|
|
8:33
|
他們回答耶穌說︰「我們是亞伯拉罕的后裔，從來沒有做過誰的奴隸，你怎么說，『你們必得自主』呢？」
|
|
|
They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
|
|
8:34
|
耶穌回答他們說︰「我實實在在地告訴你們，凡犯罪的就是奴隸（有古卷作︰罪的奴隸）。
|
|
|
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
|
|
8:35
|
奴隸不永遠住在家里﹔兒子永遠住著。
|
|
|
And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
|
|
8:36
|
所以兒子若使你們得自主，你們就真地自主了。
|
|
|
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
|
|
8:37
|
「我知道你們是亞伯拉罕的后裔﹔然而你們還想法子要殺我，因為我的道在你們里面（或譯︰中間）沒有地位。
|
|
|
I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
|
|
8:38
|
我從我父所看見的，我就說出來﹔你們從你們的父所聽見的，你們也作出來！」
|
|
|
I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
|
|
8:39
|
他們回答耶穌說︰「我們的父就是亞伯拉罕阿。」耶穌對他們說︰「你如果是亞伯拉罕的子孫，亞伯拉罕所行的事，你們就行了（有古卷作︰你們就應當行阿）。
|
|
|
They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
|
|
8:40
|
但如今呢、你們卻想法子要殺我這個對你們講真理的人﹔這真理又是我從上帝所聽見的！這種事、亞伯拉罕并沒有作阿。
|
|
|
But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
|
|
8:41
|
你們只是行你們的父的事罷了。」他們就對耶穌說︰「我們不是由淫亂而生的﹔我們只有一位父、就是上帝。」
|
|
|
Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
|
|
8:42
|
耶穌對他們說︰「上帝如果是你們的父，你們就必愛我﹔因為我出于上帝，是從上帝而來的。我并沒有憑著自己而來，是他差遣了我的。
|
|
|
Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
|
|
8:43
|
為什么你們不明白我的說法呢？無非是因為你們不能聽我的話阿。
|
|
|
Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
|
|
8:44
|
你們是出于你們的父魔鬼的﹔你們的父的私欲、你們才愿意行。他從起初就是殺人的，不站立在真實上，因為在他里面沒有真實。他說謊言時，乃由本性說出來，因為他是撒謊者，是撒謊者的父。
|
|
|
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
|
|
8:45
|
至于我呢、正因我講真實，你們就不信我！
|
|
|
And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
|
|
8:46
|
你們中間誰能使我自知有罪呢？我既講真實，為什么你們不信我呢？
|
|
|
Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
|
|
8:47
|
屬上帝的聽上帝的話語﹔你們之所以不聽的、是因為你們不屬于上帝。」
|
|
|
He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
|
|
8:48
|
猶太人回答耶穌說︰「我們說你是撒瑪利亞人，并且有鬼附著，豈不正對么？」
|
|
|
Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?
|
|
8:49
|
耶穌回答說︰「我沒有鬼附著，我乃是尊敬我的父，而你們卻侮辱我。
|
|
|
Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.
|
|
8:50
|
然而我不尋求我自己的榮耀﹔只有一位尋求的，判斷的。
|
|
|
And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.
|
|
8:51
|
我實實在在地告訴你們，人若遵守我的話，必定永遠不見死。」
|
|
|
Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
|
|
8:52
|
猶太人對耶穌說︰「如今我們就知道你有鬼附著了。亞伯拉罕死了，神言人們也死了，你還說『人若遵守我的話，必定永不嘗著死味』！
|
|
|
Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.
|
|
8:53
|
難道你比我們的祖亞伯拉罕還大么？他死了，神言人們也死了﹔你拿自己當做什么人呢？」
|
|
|
Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?
|
|
8:54
|
耶穌回答說︰「我若榮耀我自己，我的榮耀就算不了什么。榮耀我的乃是我的父，就是你們所說是你們的上帝的，
|
|
|
Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:
|
|
8:55
|
而你們不認識他，我卻認識他。我若說不認識他，就像你們一樣是撒謊者。但我真地認識他，并且遵守他的話。
|
|
|
Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.
|
|
8:56
|
你們的祖亞伯拉罕極歡樂地可得見到我的日子﹔既已見了，就喜樂。」
|
|
|
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
|
|
8:57
|
于是猶太人對耶穌說︰「你還沒有五十歲，竟見過亞伯拉罕么（有古卷作︰連亞伯拉罕也見過你么）？」
|
|
|
Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
|
|
8:58
|
耶穌對他們說︰「沒有亞伯拉罕之先、我永在。」
|
|
|
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
|
|
8:59
|
于是他們拿起石頭來、要打他﹔耶穌卻逕自隱藏著，出殿去了。
|
|
|
Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
