13:1
|
逾越節期以前、耶穌知道他的鐘點──他離開這世界、往父那里去的鐘點──已經到了。他既愛世界上屬自己的人，就愛他們到底（或譯︰到終極）。
|
|
|
Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.
|

13:2
|
吃飯的時候、﹝魔鬼早已將把耶穌送官的意思放在加略人西門的兒子猶大心里﹞
|
|
|
And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him;
|
|
13:3
|
耶穌知道父已將萬有交在他手里，且知道自己從上帝而出，又要往上帝那里去，
|
|
|
Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;
|
|
13:4
|
就從席間站起來，脫了外衣，拿手巾束腰﹔
|
|
|
He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself.
|
|
13:5
|
然后倒水在盆里，洗起門徒的腳來，又用束腰的手巾來擦乾。
|
|
|
After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.
|
|
13:6
|
這樣、就到了西門彼得那里了﹔彼得對穌說︰「主阿，你洗我的腳么？」
|
|
|
Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?
|
|
13:7
|
耶穌回答他說︰「我所作的、你現在不曉得，此后自會明白。」
|
|
|
Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.
|
|
13:8
|
彼得對耶穌說︰「你決不可洗我的腳，永遠不可！」耶穌回答他說︰「我若不洗你，你就不是和我一同有分了。」
|
|
|
Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.
|
|
13:9
|
西門彼得對耶穌說︰「那么主阿、不單我的腳，還有手和頭呢！」
|
|
|
Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.
|
|
13:10
|
耶穌對他說︰「洗了澡的人、除了腳以外（有古卷無『除了腳以外』此語）是無需乎再洗的﹔他乃是完全潔淨了﹔你們是潔淨，然而不都是。」
|
|
|
Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.
|
|
13:11
|
他原知道那要把他送官的是誰，故此他說︰「你們不都是潔淨。」
|
|
|
For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean.
|
|
13:12
|
洗完了他們的腳，耶穌就穿上外衣，再坐席，對他們說︰「我向你們作的、你們明白么？」
|
|
|
So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?
|
|
13:13
|
你們稱呼我︰『老師阿，主阿！』你們說的不錯﹔我本來是。
|
|
|
Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
|
|
13:14
|
那么我做主做老師的尚且洗你們的腳，你們呢、也應該彼此洗腳阿。
|
|
|
If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
|
|
13:15
|
我將模范給了你們，是要叫你們照我所向你們作的去作。
|
|
|
For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
|
|
13:16
|
我實實在在地告訴你們，仆人不比主人大，被差遣的也不比差他的大。
|
|
|
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
|
|
13:17
|
你們既知道這些事，若去實行，就有福了。
|
|
|
If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
|
|
13:18
|
我不是指著你們眾人說的﹔我認識我所揀選的﹔但這是要應驗經上所說︰『嚼我的餅的舉起腳跟來踢我』！
|
|
|
I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.
|
|
13:19
|
如今事還沒有發生、我先告訴你們，叫你們在事情發生時信我永在。
|
|
|
Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he.
|
|
13:20
|
我實實在在地告訴你們，接納我所差的、就是接納我﹔接納我的、就是接納那差我的。」
|
|
|
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
|
|
13:21
|
說了這些話，耶穌心靈上極為震才，就指証說︰「我實實在在地告訴你們，你們中間有一個人要把我送官。」
|
|
|
When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.
|
|
13:22
|
門徒彼此對看，心里為難，不知道他是指著誰說的。
|
|
|
Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake.
|
|
13:23
|
門徒中有一個人、是耶穌所愛的、原來斜靠（通常譯作︰坐席）在耶穌懷里﹔
|
|
|
Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.
|
|
13:24
|
于是西門彼得點頭示意對這個人說︰「請說他是指著誰說的。」
|
|
|
Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake.
|
|
13:25
|
那個人便就勢倚著（此處通常亦譯作︰坐席）耶穌的胸膛，問他說︰「主阿，是誰？」
|
|
|
He then lying on Jesus' breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it?
|
|
13:26
|
于是耶穌回答說︰「我蘸點餅給他的、就是那個人。」就蘸了一點餅，拿給加略人西門的兒子猶大。
|
|
|
Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.
|
|
13:27
|
那蘸餅被接受以后，撒但（即︰魔鬼的別名）就進了那個人。于是耶穌對他說︰「你所在作的、快點兒作吧！」
|
|
|
And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.
|
|
13:28
|
坐席的人沒有一個知道耶穌為什么對他說這話。
|
|
|
Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him.
|
|
13:29
|
有人想是因為猶大帶著錢匣（或譯︰錢囊），耶穌是告訴他︰「去買我們過節所需要的東西」﹔或是叫他拿點兒給窮人。
|
|
|
For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.
|
|
13:30
|
猶大受了那蘸餅，立刻就出去。那時是黑夜。
|
|
|
He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night.
|
|
13:31
|
猶大既出去，耶穌就說︰「如今人子得榮耀了﹔上帝也在人子身上得榮耀了﹔上帝既在他身上得了榮耀（有古卷無末句），
|
|
|
Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.

|
13:32
|
上帝就要在自己身上榮耀他，并且立刻榮耀他。
|
|
|
If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.
|
|
13:33
|
小子們，我還有一會兒同你們在一起﹔你們必尋求我﹔我怎樣對猶太人說過︰『我所去的地方、你們不能到』，現在我也怎樣對你們說。
|
|
|
Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.
|
|
13:34
|
「我把一條新的誡命給予你們，叫你們彼此相愛﹔我怎樣愛了你們，你們也要怎樣彼此相愛。
|
|
|
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
|
|
13:35
|
你們若有彼此相愛的心︰于此眾人就認識你們是我的門徒了。」
|
|
|
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
|
|
13:36
|
西門彼得問耶穌說︰「主阿，你往哪里去呢？」耶穌回答說︰「我所去的地方、你們現今不能跟著我，后來就會跟著。」
|
|
|
Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.
|
|
13:37
|
彼得對耶穌說︰「主阿，為什么我現在不能跟著你阿？連我的性命、我都要替你放棄呢！」
|
|
|
Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.
|
|
13:38
|
耶穌回答說︰「你的性命、你要替我放棄？我實實在在地告訴你，雞還未叫，你必定要三次否認我了。」
|
|
|
Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.
|
