14:1
|
「你們心里別震才不安了，你們要信上帝，也要信我（或譯︰你們信上帝，也要信我）。
|
|
|
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
|
|
14:2
|
在我父家里、有許多住處﹔若是沒有，我就早已告訴你們了﹔因為我去，原是要為你們豫備地方去的。
|
|
|
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
|
|
14:3
|
我若去為你們豫備地方，就必再來接你們歸于我，叫我在哪里，你們也在哪里。
|
|
|
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
|
|
14:4
|
我所去的地方，那條路你們倒知道（有古卷作︰我所去的地方、你們知道﹔那條路、你們也知道）。」
|
|
|
And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
|
|
14:5
|
多馬對耶穌說︰「主阿，你所去的地方、我們尚且不知道，怎么知道那條路呢？」
|
|
|
Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
|
|
14:6
|
耶穌對他說︰「我就是道路，就是『真實（或譯︰真理）』，就是生命﹔若不是藉著我，就沒有人能來找父。
|
|
|
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
|
|
14:7
|
你們若認識了我，也就認識我的父。從現在起，你們已認識他，并且已經看見了他。」
|
|
|
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
|
|
14:8
|
腓力對耶穌說︰「主阿，將父指給我們看，我們就滿足了。」
|
|
|
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
|
|
14:9
|
耶穌對他說︰「腓力，我同你們在起、有這么長的時間，你還不認識我么？看見了我的、就已經看見了父，你怎么說『將父指給我們看』呢？
|
|
|
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
|
|
14:10
|
我在父里面，父在我里面，你不信么？我所對你們說的話語，不是憑著自己講的﹔乃是住在我里面的父作他的事。
|
|
|
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
|
|
14:11
|
你們要信我在父里面，父也在我里面﹔即或不然，也要因我所作的事本身來信我。
|
|
|
Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
|
|
14:12
|
「我實實在在地告訴你們，信我的、我所作的事、那人也要作﹔就使比這些更大的、他也要作，因為我往父那里去﹔
|
|
|
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
|
|
14:13
|
你們奉我的名無論求什么，我必作成，好叫父在兒子身上得榮耀。
|
|
|
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
|
|
14:14
|
你們若奉我名（有古卷加︰向我）求什么，我必作成（有古卷無14節）。
|
|
|
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
|
|
14:15
|
「你們若愛我，就必謹守我的誡命。
|
|
|
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
|
|
14:16
|
我要求父，他就必將另一位幫助者（或譯︰另一位，就是幫助者）（『幫助者一詞』或譯︰『保惠師』，或譯︰『代替申求者』）賜給你們，叫他永遠和你們同在﹔
|
|
|
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
|
|
14:17
|
就是真理之靈、世人所不能領受的，因為看不見他，也不認識他﹔你們呢、卻認識他，因為他與你們同住，并且（有古卷作︰并且要）在你們里面。
|
|
|
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
|
|
14:18
|
「我必不撇下你們為孤兒﹔我必來找你們。
|
|
|
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
|
|
14:19
|
還有一會兒、世人就不再見著我，你們卻見著我，因為我活著，你們也必活著。
|
|
|
Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
|
|
14:20
|
到那日、你們就知道我在父里面，你們在我里面，我也在你們里面。
|
|
|
At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
|
|
14:21
|
「有了我的誡命又遵守的，那人是愛我的﹔愛我的必蒙我父愛他，我也必愛他，并且要將自己向他顯現。」
|
|
|
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
|
|
14:22
|
猶大﹝不是加略人猶大﹞問耶穌說︰「主阿，為什么你要將自己向我們顯現，而不向世人呢？」
|
|
|
Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
|
|
14:23
|
耶穌回答他說︰「人若愛我，就必遵守我的話﹔我父必愛他，我們也必來找他，將他做我們的住處。
|
|
|
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
|
|
14:24
|
不愛我的人、不遵守我的話﹔你們所聽見的話不是我的，乃是差我之父的。
|
|
|
He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
|
|
14:25
|
「我還和你們同住的時候、就將這些事對你們說了﹔
|
|
|
These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
|
|
14:26
|
但那幫助者（『幫助者一詞』或譯︰『保惠師』，或譯︰『代替申求者』）、聖靈、父因我的名所要差的、那一位必將一切事指教你們，也必叫你們想起我所對你們說的一切話。
|
|
|
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
|
|
14:27
|
「我將平安留下給你們﹔我的平安、我給你們﹔我給你們、不像世人那樣給。你們心里必震才不安了，別膽怯了。
|
|
|
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
|
|
14:28
|
你們聽見我對你們說︰我去，還要來找你們。你們若愛我，就必因我往父那里去而歡喜，因為父比我大。
|
|
|
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
|

14:29
|
如今事還沒有發生、我先告訴你們，叫你們在事情發生時好相信。
|
|
|
And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
|
|
14:30
|
今后我不再同你們多講話了，因為這世界的執政者正來著﹔在我身上、他一無所有﹔
|
|
|
Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
|
|
14:31
|
但這是要叫世人知道我愛父，并且父怎樣囑咐我，我就怎樣行。起來，我們就走吧。
|
|
|
But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
