19:1
|
那時彼拉多就拿耶穌，鞭打了。
|
|
|
Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him.
|
|
19:2
|
士兵用荊棘編作華冠，給戴在他頭上，又給他披上紫色的衣裳。
|
|
|
And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe,
|
|
19:3
|
接續地來到他面前說︰「猶太人的王，萬歲！」直給他耳刮子（或譯︰直用刑杖打他）。
|
|
|
And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands.
|
|
19:4
|
彼拉多就再出來外邊，對他們說︰「看哪，我帶他到外邊來給你們，叫你們知道我查不出他有什么罪狀。」
|
|
|
Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him.
|
|
19:5
|
于是耶穌出來到外邊，戴著荊棘華冠，穿著紫色衣裳！彼拉多對他們說︰「看哪，這個人！」
|
|
|
Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!
|
|
19:6
|
祭司長和差役一看見他，就嚷著說︰「釘十字架！釘十字架！」彼拉多對他們說︰「你們自己拿去釘！我查不出他有什么罪狀。」
|
|
|
When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.
|
|
19:7
|
猶太人回答他說︰「我們有律法，按那律法、他應該死，因為他拿自己當做上帝的兒子。」
|
|
|
The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.
|
|
19:8
|
彼拉多一聽見這話，便越發害怕﹔
|
|
|
When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid;
|
|
19:9
|
就再進皇省長府內（或譯︰公館），問耶穌說︰「你是哪兒來的？」耶穌沒有回答他。
|
|
|
And went again into the judgment hall, and saith unto Jesus, Whence art thou? But Jesus gave him no answer.
|
|
19:10
|
于是彼拉多對他說︰「你對我、也不說話么？你不知道我有權柄釋放你，也有權柄釘你十字架么？」
|
|
|
Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee?
|
|
19:11
|
耶穌回答說︰「若不從上頭給了你，你就亳無權柄辦我﹔故此那把我送交給你的、犯了更大的罪。」
|
|
|
Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.
|
|
19:12
|
從此彼拉多就想法子要釋放耶穌﹔無奈猶太人直嚷著說︰「你若釋放這個人，就不是『該撒的忠臣（希臘文作︰朋友）』了﹔凡以自己為王的，就要頂撞著該撒。」
|
|
|
And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar.
|

19:13
|
彼拉多聽了這些話，就帶耶穌到外邊，就坐在台上審判，在一個叫鋪石處、希伯來土話叫厄巴大的地方坐堂。
|
|
|
When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha.
|
|
19:14
|
那一天是逾越節的豫備日，大約在中午十二點（希臘文作︰第六時辰）。彼拉多對猶太人說﹔「看哪，你們的王！」
|
|
|
And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!
|
|
19:15
|
于是他們嚷著說︰「除掉！除掉！釘他十字架！」彼拉多對他們說︰「你們的王、我給釘十字架？」祭司長回答說︰「除了該撒、我們沒有王！」
|
|
|
But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.

|
19:16
|
于是彼拉多就把耶穌交給他們、去釘十字架。
|
|
|
Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away.
|
|
19:17
|
他們就把耶穌領去。耶穌自己背著十字架出來，到了一個地方叫頭蓋骨，希伯來土話叫各各他的地方﹔
|
|
|
And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:
|
|
19:18
|
在那里、他們就把他釘十字架了。同他在一起的、另有兩個人︰這邊一個，那邊一個，耶穌在中間。
|
|
|
Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.
|
|
19:19
|
彼拉多也寫了一個罪名，安在十字架上﹔寫的是︰『拿撒勒人耶穌，猶太人的王！』
|
|
|
And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.
|
|
19:20
|
當時有許多猶太人念了這罪名，﹝因為耶穌釘十字架的地點離城很近﹞﹔那罪名是用希伯來土話、和羅馬話、希利尼話寫的。
|
|
|
This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.
|
|
19:21
|
猶太人的祭司長就對彼拉多說︰「不要寫『猶太人的王！』﹔要寫『這人自己說︰我是猶太人的王。』」
|
|
|
Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.
|
|
19:22
|
彼拉多回答說︰「我所寫了的，我已經寫上了。」
|
|
|
Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.
|
|
19:23
|
士兵既把耶穌釘了十字架，就拿他的衣裳分為四分，每一個兵一分﹔又拿里衣﹔這件里衣是沒有縫的，是從上頭織通整片的。
|
|
|
Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.
|
|
19:24
|
他們就彼此說︰「我們不要撕裂它，只要抓鬮、看是誰的」﹔這是要應驗一段經，說︰「他們彼此分了我的衣裳，為了我的服裝來拈鬮。」士兵果然這樣作了。
|
|
|
They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.

|
19:25
|
而在耶穌十字架旁站著的、卻有他母親、和他母親的姊妹、革羅罷的妻子馬利亞、和抹大拉的馬利亞。
|
|
|
Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.
|
|
19:26
|
耶穌見母親和所愛的那門徒在旁邊站著，就對母親說︰「媽媽，看哪，你的兒子！」
|
|
|
When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!
|
|
19:27
|
然后對那門徒說︰「看哪，你的母親！」從那時候那門徒就接她到自己的地方去。
|
|
|
Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.
|
|
19:28
|
這事以后，耶穌知道各樣的事已經完成了﹝為要使經上所說的得成就﹞，就說︰「我渴了！」
|
|
|
After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.
|
|
19:29
|
有一個器皿滿盛著酸酒放在那里﹔有人就拿滿了酸酒的海絨綁在槍（根據一古卷翻譯的﹔其他古卷作︰『牛膝草』）上，送到他咀里。
|
|
|
Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.
|
|
19:30
|
耶穌受了酸酒，就說︰「完成了！」便低下頭，把靈交付了。
|
|
|
When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
|
|
19:31
|
因這一天是豫備日，為避免身體當安息日留在十字架上﹝因為那安息日是個大日﹞，猶大人便求彼拉多叫人打斷他們的腿，給取去。
|
|
|
The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.
|
|
19:32
|
就有士兵來了，把頭一個人的腿、和他同釘十字架那另一個人的腿、打斷了。
|
|
|
Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him.
|
|
19:33
|
來到耶穌那里，見他已經死了，就沒有打斷他的腿。
|
|
|
But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:
|
|
19:34
|
不過士兵中有一個用槍札他的肋旁，立刻就有血和水出來。
|
|
|
But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.
|
|
19:35
|
那看見的人作了見証﹝他的見証是真實︰他知道他是說實話﹞，使你們也可以信。
|
|
|
And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.
|
|
19:36
|
這些事發生、是要應驗經上的話說︰「他的骨頭一根也不會被折斷。」
|
|
|
For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.
|
|
19:37
|
此外另有一段經也說︰「人們必瞻望自己所札的人。」
|
|
|
And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.
|
|
19:38
|
這些事以后，有亞利馬太人約瑟──他是耶穌的門徒，卻因怕猶太人而隱密地做門徒──他求彼拉多讓他把耶穌的身體取去。彼拉多准許了，他就來，把耶穌的身體取去。
|
|
|
And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus.

19:39
|
又有尼哥底母、先前夜里去見耶穌的、也來了，帶著沒藥和沉香的混合品、約有一百磅（希臘文作︰『立得拉』，等于羅馬磅『立伯拉』，約等于三二七﹒四五克蘭姆）。
|
|
|
And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.

|
19:40
|
他們領了耶穌的身體，就用細麻布加上香料綁好，照猶太人豫備安葬的規矩辦。
|
|
|
Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury.
|
|
19:41
|
在耶穌釘十字架的地方有個園子，園子里有座新的墳墓，里面沒有人安放過。
|
|
|
Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid.
|
|
19:42
|
就在那里，為了猶太人之豫備日的緣故，因那墳墓相近，他們就把耶穌安放了。
|
|
|
There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand.
