2:1

五旬節日到了，眾人門徒都同在一處。

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2:2

驀然間有響聲從天上來、像猛烈的風（同字︰靈）刮著的響聲，充滿了他們所坐的整個屋子。

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

2:3

有舌頭像火舌一樣、向他們顯現出來，分散而停在他們每一個人上頭。

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

2:4

于是眾人都充滿了聖靈、說起話來，照聖靈給他們去發表的。

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

2:5

那時有猶太人──從天下各國來的虔誠人──住在耶路撒冷。

And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

2:6

一聽到這響聲，民眾都聚攏來，紛紛亂亂，不知所措，因為每一個人都聽見使徒們用聽者自己的土話塹講論。

Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

2:7

眾人都驚訝希奇說︰「看哪，這些說話的不都是加利利人么？

And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

2:8

我們各人聽起來、怎么是以我們自己生來的土話來聽呢？

And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

2:9

我們帕提亞人、瑪代人、以攔人和住米所波大米、猶太和加帕多加、本都和亞細亞、

Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

2:10

弗呂家和旁非利亞、埃及和靠近古利奈的呂彼亞區域的人、以及旅居的羅馬人、

Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

2:11

猶太人和歸依猶太教的人、革哩底人和阿拉伯人、我們真地聽見他們是用我們自己的語言來講論上帝的大作為呀！」

Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

2:12

眾人都驚奇，心里很為難，就彼此對說︰「這是什么意思阿？」

And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

2:13

另有人則譏剌著說︰「他們只是灌滿著新酒罷了。」

Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

2:14

但是彼得同那十一個人卻站著，提高了聲音，向他們發表言論說︰「猶太人、和所有住耶路撒冷的人哪，這件事你們要知道，要側耳聽我的話。

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

2:15

這些人并不是照你們所想的喝醉了，因為這時候只是白天九點（希臘文︰第三時辰）。

For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

2:16

不是喝醉的，這是那藉神言人約珥所說的︰

But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

2:17

『上帝說︰在末后的日子我必將我的靈傾注于一切血肉之人﹔你們的兒子、你們的女兒、就必說豫言，你們的青年人必看見奇象，你們的老年人必作夢。

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

2:18

是的，在那些日子、我必將我的靈傾注于我的仆人、我的婢女，他們就必說豫言。

And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

2:19

我必顯出奇事在上天、神跡在下地，有血、火、與煙霧﹔

And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

2:20

日頭必變成黑暗，月亮必變成血，在主的日子、大而顯赫之日、未到以前。

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

2:21

那時凡呼求主名的、就必得救。』

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

2:22

「以色列人哪，你們要聽這些話︰拿撒勒人耶穌、一個蒙上帝用異能奇事神跡向你們所証許的人﹔﹝這一切事、照你們自己所知道的、是上帝藉著他在你們中間施行過的﹞﹔

Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

2:23

這個人、按著上帝所立定的計畫和豫知被送官，你們藉著不法之人的手給釘上，殺掉了。

Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

2:24

對于他、上帝卻解去了死亡之慘痛，使他復起，因為他被死握住是不可能的。

Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

2:25

因為大衛是指著耶穌基督而說的﹔他說︰『我看見主時常在我眼前，因為他在我右邊、使我不被搖動。

For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

2:26

故此我的心快樂，我的舌頭歡躍，我的肉身還要安居在指望中，

Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

2:27

因為你必不將我的靈魂撇棄在陰間，也不給你的聖者見敗壞。

Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

2:28

你已將生命之道路使我知道，你必以你的聖容使我充滿了愉快。』

Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

2:29

「同人弟兄們，關于族長大衛的事、我可以坦然不怕反駁地對你們說，他不但死了，而且埋葬了，他的塋墓直到這一天還在我們中間呢。

Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

2:30

大衛是個神言人，他曉得上帝曾用起誓的話向他起誓，要使他后裔（希臘文︰腰腎之果實）中有一位坐在他寶座上，

Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

2:31

所以他豫先見到了，就講起基督之復活，說︰『他不但沒有被撇棄在陰間，他的肉身也沒有見敗壞』。

He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

2:32

這耶穌、上帝已經使他復起了，我們呢、都是這事的見証人。

This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

2:33

這樣，他既被高舉在上帝右邊，又從父領受了所應許的聖靈，便將這個、你們所看見所聽見的、傾注下來。

Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

2:34

因為大衛當時并沒有升到天上﹔大衛只是親自說︰『主對我主說了︰你坐在我右邊，

For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

2:35

等我處置你仇敵做你腳的凳子。』

Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

2:36

「這樣看來，以色列全家都應當確實地知道，你們釘十字架的這位耶穌、上帝已經立他、不但做主，而且做上帝所膏立者基督了。」

Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

2:37

眾人聽了，心里被扎，就對彼得和其余的使徒說︰「同人弟兄們，我們應當怎樣行？」

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

2:38

彼得對他們說︰「你們要悔改，你們各人都要在上帝所膏立者耶穌名內受洗、以得罪赦，你們就可以領受聖靈、那白白的恩。

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

2:39

因為這應許是給你們和你們的兒女、以及一切在遠方、凡主我們的上帝所呼召的人。」

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.

2:40

彼得還用更多別樣的話鄭重地作見証，勸勉他們說︰「你們要救自己、脫離這彎曲的世代。」

And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

2:41

于是領受他話的人都受了洗﹔那一天約加了三千人。

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

2:42

他們恆心專務的、是使徒的教訓、是團契捐，是擘餅和禱告。

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

2:43

各人都起了敬畏的心﹔有許多奇事神跡藉著使徒行了出來。

And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

2:44

信的人都在一處，凡物共有。

And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

2:45

他們賣了田產家業，分給眾人、照人所需要的。

And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

2:46

并且同心合意，天天恆心專務于殿里的敬拜，又在家中擘餅，存歡樂坦朴之心分享食物，

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

2:47

頌贊上帝，對全體眾民保持著好感。主將得救著的人天天加在一處。

Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
