21:1
|
我們既抽身離別了眾人、就開船一直走，來到哥士﹔次日到了羅底，從那里到帕大喇（有古卷作︰和每拉）﹔
|
|
|
And it came to pass, that after we were gotten from them, and had launched, we came with a straight course unto Coos, and the day following unto Rhodes, and from thence unto Patara:
|
|
21:2
|
遇見一只船要渡海到腓尼基，就上船開行。
|
|
|
And finding a ship sailing over unto Phenicia, we went aboard, and set forth.
|
|
21:3
|
我們望見了居比路，就從左邊離開了它，向敘利亞航行，在推羅靠岸﹔因為船要在那里卸載。
|
|
|
Now when we had discovered Cyprus, we left it on the left hand, and sailed into Syria, and landed at Tyre: for there the ship was to unlade her burden.
|
|
21:4
|
找到了門徒，我們就在那里停留了七天﹔他們藉著聖靈的啟示告訴保羅不要插足在耶路撒冷。
|
|
|
And finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem.
|
|
21:5
|
這几天終了，我們就出發前行﹔眾人同妻子兒女、送我們到城外﹔我們在海灘上跪下禱告，
|
|
|
And when we had accomplished those days, we departed and went our way; and they all brought us on our way, with wives and children, till we were out of the city: and we kneeled down on the shore, and prayed.
|
|
21:6
|
彼此告別﹔我們上了船，他們也回自己地方去了。
|
|
|
And when we had taken our leave one of another, we took ship; and they returned home again.
|
|
21:7
|
我們從推羅行盡了航程，抵達多利買，給弟兄們請安，和他們同住了一天。
|
|
|
And when we had finished our course from Tyre, we came to Ptolemais, and saluted the brethren, and abode with them one day.
|
|
21:8
|
第二天我們出發，來到該撒利亞，進了傳福音者腓利家里﹝他是七人中的一個（參徒6︰5）﹞，和他同住。
|
|
|
And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.
|
|
21:9
|
這個人有四個女兒，是處女，能說豫言。
|
|
|
And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.
|
|
21:10
|
我們多停留了好几天，有一個神言人名叫亞迦布、從猶太下來
|
|
|
And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus.
|
|
21:11
|
來見我們，拿保羅的腰帶，捆著自己的腳和手，說︰「聖靈這么說，猶太人必在耶路撒冷這樣捆綁這腰帶的主人，給送交在外國人手里。」
|
|
|
And when he was come unto us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.
|

21:12
|
我們聽見了這些話，就連同當地的人苦勸保羅別上耶路撒冷。
|
|
|
And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.
|
|
21:13
|
于是保羅回答說︰「你們干什么哭、使我心碎呢？為了主耶穌的名、不但被捆綁、就是死在耶路撒冷、我都准備作的。」
|
|
|
Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

21:14
|
保羅既不聽勸，我們也就靜默下來，只說︰「愿主的旨意得成就是了。」
|
|
|
And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.
|
|
21:15
|
過了這几天、我們就把行李裝好，上耶路撒冷去了。
|
|
|
And after those days we took up our carriages, and went up to Jerusalem.
|
|
21:16
|
有該撒利亞的几個門徒也和我們一同去，帶我們到了一個老門徒、居比路人拿孫家里，我們可以客居在那里的。
|
|
|
There went with us also certain of the disciples of Caesarea, and brought with them one Mnason of Cyprus, an old disciple, with whom we should lodge.
|
|
21:17
|
我們到了耶路撒冷，弟兄們很高興地接待我們。
|
|
|
And when we were come to Jerusalem, the brethren received us gladly.
|
|
21:18
|
翌日，保羅同我們進去見雅各﹔眾長老也都在那里。
|
|
|
And the day following Paul went in with us unto James; and all the elders were present.
|
|
21:19
|
既給他們請了安，保羅就將上帝、藉著他傳道的職事、在外國人中所作的各樣事、一一述說。
|
|
|
And when he had saluted them, he declared particularly what things God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry.
|
|
21:20
|
他們聽見了，就將榮耀與上帝，對保羅說︰「老哥，你看猶太人中信的有多少萬，都熱心于律法的了﹔
|
|
|
And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:
|
|
21:21
|
他們聽見人口傳你的事，說你教授叛教之道，叫外國中所有的猶太人違背摩西，說不要給孩子行割禮﹔也不要按規矩行。
|
|
|
And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.
|
|
21:22
|
那么這可怎么辦呢？他們總會聽見你來了的。
|
|
|
What is it therefore? the multitude must needs come together: for they will hear that thou art come.
|
|
21:23
|
這樣吧，你就照我們所告訴你的作吧。我們這里有四個人、都有愿在身﹔
|
|
|
Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them;
|
|
21:24
|
你帶著這几個人，同他們行清潔禮，替他們納費，使他們得以剃頭發。這樣，眾人便可知道所口傳關于你的話都是沒有的事﹔并且、就是你自己也反而是按規矩行、遵守律法的。
|
|
|
Them take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law.
|
|
21:25
|
至于信道的外國人呢、我們已經寫信訓諭他們，決定叫他們自守，不吃祭偶像之物和血、跟勒死的動物（有古卷無此語），又不行淫亂。」
|
|
|
As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.
|
|
21:26
|
于是保羅帶著這几個人，過一天同他們行了清潔禮，進了殿，報明清潔滿期的日子在哪一天、就是祭司為他們每一個人獻供物的時候。
|
|
|
Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them.
|
|
21:27
|
那七天抉要完的時候，有亞西亞的猶太人見保羅在殿里，就激動所有的群眾、下手拿他，
|
|
|
And when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews which were of Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands on him,
|
|
21:28
|
喊著說︰「以色列人哪，援助吧！這個人就是在各處教訓眾人反對我們的人民、我們的律法和這聖地的。不但如此，他竟帶了希利尼人進殿，使這聖地俗污呢！」
|
|
|
Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place.
|
|
21:29
|
原來他們已先看見以弗所人特羅非摩同保羅在城里，就以為保羅帶他進了殿。
|
|
|
(For they had seen before with him in the city Trophimus an Ephesian, whom they supposed that Paul had brought into the temple.)
|
|
21:30
|
全城都搖動了，民眾一齊跑來，拉住保羅，拖他出殿，所有的門立刻關起來。
|
|
|
And all the city was moved, and the people ran together: and they took Paul, and drew him out of the temple: and forthwith the doors were shut.
|
|
21:31
|
他們正想法子要殺他的時候，就有話傳上去、到營部的千夫長在那里，說全耶路撒冷都紛亂了。
|
|
|
And as they went about to kill him, tidings came unto the chief captain of the band, that all Jerusalem was in an uproar.
|
|
21:32
|
千夫長登時帶兵和几個百夫長，跑下去到他們那里。他們看見千夫長和士兵，就停止不擊打保羅。
|
|
|
Who immediately took soldiers and centurions, and ran down unto them: and when they saw the chief captain and the soldiers, they left beating of Paul.
|
|
21:33
|
于是千夫長走近前去，拉住他，發命令用兩條獫瀅捆綁著﹔查問是什么人，作了什么事。
|
|
|
Then the chief captain came near, and took him, and commanded him to be bound with two chains; and demanded who he was, and what he had done.
|
|
21:34
|
群眾中有的喊叫這個，有的喊叫那個。既因鬧亂而不能知道確實的情形，千夫長就發命令將保羅帶進營樓。
|
|
|
And some cried one thing, some another, among the multitude: and when he could not know the certainty for the tumult, he commanded him to be carried into the castle.
|
|
21:35
|
到了台階上，因群眾擁擠的力猛，保羅就被士兵擁了上去。
|
|
|
And when he came upon the stairs, so it was, that he was borne of the soldiers for the violence of the people.
|
|
21:36
|
那一群民眾跟在后面，喊著說︰「除掉他！」
|
|
|
For the multitude of the people followed after, crying, Away with him.
|
|
21:37
|
快要被帶進營樓的時候，保羅對千夫長說︰「我對千夫長說句話可以么？」他說︰「你懂希利尼話么？
|
|
|
And as Paul was to be led into the castle, he said unto the chief captain, May I speak unto thee? Who said, Canst thou speak Greek?
|
|
21:38
|
那么你莫非是這些日子以前作亂，帶領四千個暗殺的人出去、到野地去的那個埃及人么？
|
|
|
Art not thou that Egyptian, which before these days madest an uproar, and leddest out into the wilderness four thousand men that were murderers?
|
|
21:39
|
保羅說︰「我是猶太人，是基利家的大數人，并不是無名小城的公民，求千夫長准我對民眾說話。」
|
|
|
But Paul said, I am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: and, I beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto the people.
|
|
21:40
|
千夫長准許了，保羅就站在台階兒上，向民眾擺手。大家都靜默無聲了，保羅便用希伯來土話陳述說︰
|
|
|
And when he had given him licence, Paul stood on the stairs, and beckoned with the hand unto the people. And when there was made a great silence, he spake unto them in the Hebrew tongue, saying,
