7:1
|
弟兄們，難道你們不知道律法管人、是盡在他活著的時候么？我這是對懂法律的人說的。
|
|
|
Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
|
|
7:2
|
有丈夫的女人，丈夫還活著，她是被法律束縛著、去跟著丈夫的﹔丈夫若死去，她就得解放、脫離了丈夫律了。
|
|
|
For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
|
|
7:3
|
所以丈夫還活著，她若歸于別的男人，便稱為淫婦﹔丈夫若死去，她就脫離了那法律而得自由了﹔歸于別的男人，也不是淫婦。
|
|
|
So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
|

7:4
|
所以你們呢、我的弟兄們，你們因屬于基督的身體、對于律法也可被看為已死的、可以歸于別人的，就是歸于那從死人中得才活起來的，好叫我們可以給上帝結果子。
|
|
|
Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
|
|
7:5
|
因為我們從前在肉體里的時候，那因律法而生的罪之惡情、運用著動力于我們的肢體中，以致給死結果子。
|
|
|
For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
|
|
7:6
|
但如今呢、我們既對那捆綁我們、的律法死了，就得解放、脫離了那律法了﹔因此我們做奴仆、要依靈之新樣子，而不是依典籍之舊樣子。
|
|
|
But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
|
|
7:7
|
這樣，我們可怎么說呢？律法是罪么？斷乎不是。不過、若不是由于律法，我就不知道罪是什么。若不是律法說︰『你不可貪欲』，我就不知道貪欲是什么。
|
|
|
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
|

7:8
|
然而罪趁著機會、藉著誡命、在我身上動起各種的私欲來。因為在律法以外、罪是死的。
|
|
|
But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
|
|
7:9
|
從前在律法以外、我活著﹔誡命一來到，罪活了起來，我就死了。
|
|
|
For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
|
|
7:10
|
那本來要叫人活的誡命、我見得倒是叫人死的，
|
|
|
And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.
|
|
7:11
|
因為罪趁著機會、藉著誡命、誘惑了我，藉著誡命殺死了。
|
|
|
For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.
|
|
7:12
|
所以律法是聖的，誡命也是聖的，是義的，又是善的。
|
|
|
Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
|
|
7:13
|
那么善是在我身上生出死來么？斷乎不是。不，是罪，罪為要顯明它是罪，便藉著善在我身上造出死來，叫罪藉著誡命顯出它是有罪到極點的。
|
|
|
Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
|
|
7:14
|
我們曉得、律法是屬靈的﹔我卻是屬肉的，是賣在罪之下做奴仆的。
|
|
|
For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
|
|
7:15
|
因為我所作出來的、我竟不明白︰我所愿意的、我不去作﹔我所恨惡的、我倒去行。
|
|
|
For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
|
|
7:16
|
若我所不愿意的、我倒去行，我就同意律法是好的了。
|
|
|
If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
|
|
7:17
|
其實呢、不再是我作出來的，乃是那住在我里面的罪作出來的。
|
|
|
Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
|
|
7:18
|
我知道在我里面、就是在我肉體之中、沒有善住著﹔因為志愿呢、我雖有，把善作出來呢、我卻不能。
|
|
|
For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
|
|
7:19
|
因為我所愿意的善、我不去行﹔我所不愿意的惡、我倒去作。
|
|
|
For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
|
|
7:20
|
我所不愿意的、我若去行，便不再是我作出來的，乃是住在我里面的罪作出來的。
|
|
|
Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
|
|
7:21
|
所以我見有個律︰就是我愿意行善的時候，總有惡和我同在。
|
|
|
I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
|
|
7:22
|
因為按我『內心的人』來說呢、我倒極贊喜上帝之律﹔
|
|
|
For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
|
|
7:23
|
但我卻看出，在我肢體中另有個律、和我心思之律交戰，把我擄去、去附從那在我肢體中的罪之律。
|
|
|
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
|
|
7:24
|
慘苦阿，我這個人！誰能援救我脫離這有死掌權的身體呢？
|
|
|
O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
|
|
7:25
|
感謝上帝，藉著我們的主耶穌基督、就能脫離了。這樣看來，論我自己、我是心思上（或譯︰以心思）給上帝之律做奴仆，而肉體上（或譯︰以肉體）給罪之律做奴仆的。
|
|
|
I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
