13:1

這是我第三次要到你們那里去的。「各樣事實都必須憑著兩個或三個見証人親口所說以確定的。」
|
|
|
This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
|
|
13:2
|
我從前說過，如今又豫先聲明︰對那些從前犯了罪的、和其余各人，我第二次和你們同在時怎么樣，如今不同在時也怎么樣我若再來，必不寬惜。
|
|
|
I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which heretofore have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, I will not spare:

13:3
|
你們既尋求基督在我里面說話的經驗証據，我就說︰基督對于你們并不是軟弱﹔他在你們中間是大有能力的。
|
|
|
Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.
|
|
13:4
|
他固然由于軟弱而被釘十字架，卻由于上帝之大能力仍然活著。我們呢、我們在他里面也軟弱，但由于上帝之大能力、我們卻要和他一同活著來服事你們。
|
|
|
For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.
|
|
13:5
|
你們要試驗自己是不是在信仰里生活﹔你們要察驗自己。難道你們不認識自己，不知道耶穌基督在你們中間么，除非你們是不中用的話？
|
|
|
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
|
|
13:6
|
我卻盼望你們知道我們不是不中用的。
|
|
|
But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.
|
|
13:7
|
我們祈禱上帝、使你們不行什么惡事﹔這不是要顯明我們是被試驗為可取的，乃是要你們行善﹔而我們呢、就做不中用的得啦！
|
|
|
Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.
|
|
13:8
|
我們不能作什么事來違逆真理﹔我們只能擁護真理。
|
|
|
For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.
|
|
13:9
|
我（希臘文作︰我們）歡喜我們軟弱時你們有能力而剛強。我們還祈禱︰叫你們追求完全。
|
|
|
For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.
|
|
13:10
|
故此我和你們不同在時寫了這些話，好讓我和你們同在時不必照主所賜給我、那為建立而不為攻倒、的權柄、嚴厲地措置。
|
|
|
Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction.
|

13:11
|
末了、弟兄們，愿你們喜樂！你們要追求完全﹔要受鼓勵﹔要存著同樣的意念﹔要與人和睦﹔那么賜愛與和平（或譯︰平安）的上帝就與你們同在。
|
|
|
Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
|

13:12
|
你們要用聖別的接吻彼此問安。
|
|
|
Greet one another with an holy kiss.
|
|
13:13
|
眾聖徒都給你們問安。
|
|
|
All the saints salute you.
|
|
13:14
|
愿主耶穌基督的恩惠、上帝的慈愛、聖靈的團契、常與你們眾人同在！
|
|
|
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
