|
做兒女的、你們要聽從你們的父母﹔因為這是理所當然的。
|

|
Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
|
|
6:2
|
「要孝敬你的父親和母親，使你亨通，在地上長壽」︰這是第一條帶著應許的誡命。
|
|
|
Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
|
|
6:3
|

|
That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

|

|
做父親的、別惹你們兒女的氣了﹔要用主的訓練和警戒養育他們。
|
|
|
And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
|
|
6:5
|
做仆人的、你們要敬畏戰兢地、以心中的純誠、聽從按肉身做主人的，如同聽從基督一樣。
|
|
|
Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
|
|
6:6
|
不要單用眼見的服事像只討人喜歡的，乃要像基督的仆人、從心里行上帝的旨意。
|
|
|
Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
|
|
6:7
|
用善意服事著，如同服事主，不是服事人。
|
|
|
With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:
|
|
6:8
|
因為曉得各人、或為奴的或自主的、無論行了什么善事、都必從主得回好報。
|
|
|
Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
|
|
6:9
|
做主人的、你們對仆人也要同樣地行。要停止怨嚇﹔因為知道有主在天上，不但是他們的主，也是你們的主﹔他不以貌取人。
|
|
|
And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.
|
|
6:10
|
最后的話，你們要在主里、靠他力量的權能作剛強的人。
|
|
|
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
|
|
6:11
|
要穿戴上帝的軍裝，使你們能站穩、來抵擋魔鬼的詭計。
|
|
|
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
|
|
6:12
|
因為我們的戰斗并不是對屬血與肉的人，乃是對『眾執政的』『眾掌權的』，對那些統轄這『黑暗』世界的、對天界中諸惡靈。
|
|
|
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
|
|
6:13
|
故此你們要拿起上帝的軍裝，好在險惡的日子能抵擋得住﹔并且既作成了一切事，還能站穩。
|
|
|
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
|
|
6:14
|
所以你們要站穩，你們的腰用真誠束好了，義的胸甲穿上了，
|
|
|
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
|
|
6:15
|
也把和平福音之准備著上了腳。
|
|
|
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
|
|
6:16
|
此外又拿起了信仰的盾牌﹔用這個就能扑滅那邪惡者一切燒著的箭。
|
|
|
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
|
|
6:17
|
你們要把救恩的頭盔和聖靈的寶劍、就是上帝的話語、接過來。
|
|
|
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
|
|
6:18
|
藉著各樣的禱告和祈求、時時刻刻用心靈祈禱﹔以十二分的恆心專在這事上覺醒著，為眾聖徒祈求，
|
|
|
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
|
|
6:19
|
也替我求，使我在開口時、得到適當的話語，可以放膽無懼播知福音的奧秘
|
|
|
And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
|
|
6:20
|
﹝為了這個、我做帶鎖才的大使﹞，使我在這上頭放膽無懼、照所應該講的來講。
|
|
|
For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
|
|
6:21
|
但是為要叫你們也知道我的景況、我怎樣起居，今有在主里的親愛弟兄、忠信的仆役、推基古、要將一切的事報給你們知道。
|
|
|
But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:
|
|
6:22
|
我打發了他到你們那里去，特為的要讓你們知道我們的倩形，并使他鼓勵你們的心。
|
|
|
Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.
|
|
6:23
|
愿弟兄們由父上帝和主耶穌基督得到平安與愛同信！
|
|
|
Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
|
|
6:24
|
凡愛我們主耶穌基督的人、愿恩惠永與他們同在于不朽中（或譯︰『凡愛我們主耶穌基督至于不朽的人、愿恩惠永與他們同在』！
|
|
|
Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
