我在上帝面前、在那將要審判活人死人的基督耶穌面前、憑著他的顯現和他的國權、切切地誓囑、
|
|
|
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
|
|
4:2
|
你要傳道，無論得時不得時都要急切力行，用百般的恆忍和各樣的教訓讓人知罪、責備人、勸勉（或譯︰鼓勵）人。
|
|
|
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
|
|
4:3
|
因為時候必到，人必不容忍健全的教義，反而耳朵發痒，順著自己的私欲給自己堆積許多教師來，
|
|
|
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
|
|
4:4
|
使耳朵轉離真理，偏向荒唐的傳說。
|
|
|
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
|
|
4:5
|
但是你呢、你凡事都要冷靜戒備著，要能吃苦，作傳福音人的工、來盡你的職分。
|
|
|
But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
|
|
4:6
|
至于我呢、我最后的一滴血已流出為奠祭了，我撤離世間的時候到了。
|
|
|
For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
|
|
4:7
|
這美好的競斗、我已經奮力斗勝過了﹔這跑程我已經跑盡了﹔這信約（或譯︰信仰）我已經守住了。
|
|
|
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
|
|
4:8
|
此后就有正義之華冠為我保留著，就是主、公義的審判者、在那日要賞報我的，不但賞給我，也賞給一切愛慕他顯現的人。
|
|
|
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
|
|
4:9
|
你要竭力設法、趕抉到我這里來﹔
|
|
|
Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:
|
|
4:10
|
因為底馬貪愛現今世，撇棄了我，往帖撒羅尼迦去，革勒士往加拉太（有古卷作︰嘎拉）去，提多往撻馬太去，
|
|
|
For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.
|
|
4:11
|
單單有路加同我在一起。你要把馬可拉來，帶他同去一路來﹔因為他在服務上于我很有用。
|
|
|
Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.
|
|

|
我已經打發推基古往以弗所。
|
|
|
And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus.
|
|
4:13
|
我在特羅亞留在加布那里的那件外衣，你來的時候要帶來﹔還有那几卷書，那些羊皮的最要緊。
|
|
|
The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.
|
|

|
銅匠亞力山大多多地加害于我﹔主必照他所行的報應他。
|
|
|
Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:
|
|
4:15
|
這個人、你要提防，因為他極力反對我們所講的話。
|
|
|
Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words.
|
|
4:16
|
我初次辯訴的時候，沒有人在旁支持我﹔眾人都撇棄我﹔但愿這罪不算歸于他們。
|
|
|
At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.
|
|
4:17
|
然而主卻站在我旁邊，給我能力，使該宣傳的藉著我都得傳盡，而外國人都聽見，我也得救援、脫離獅子的口。
|
|
|
Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
|
|
4:18
|
主必援救我脫離各樣凶惡的事，也救護我進他屬天之國。愿榮耀歸于他，世世無窮！阿們（即︰誠心所愿）。
|
|
|
And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

|
請給百基拉、亞居拉和阿尼色弗一家的人問安。
|
|
|
Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the household of Onesiphorus.

|
以拉都繼續住在哥林多了﹔我把特羅非摩留在米利都，他病著呢。

|
|
Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick.

|
你要竭力設法在冬天以前來。友布羅、布田、利奴、革老底亞、和眾弟兄、都給你問安。
|
|
|
Do thy diligence to come before winter. Eubulus greeteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.
|
|
4:22
|
愿主與你的靈同在！愿恩惠與你們同在！
|
|
|
The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.
