12:1
|
所以我們也如此。我們既有這樣多如密云的舍生作証人圍繞著我們，就該脫去各樣的拖累、和那容易纏著我們（有古卷作『使我們精神渙散』）的罪，用堅忍志氣跑那擺在我們前頭的賽程，
|
|
|
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
|
|
12:2
|
轉臉注視著信仰上的開創者和完成者耶穌︰他為了那擺在他前頭的喜樂，就堅忍著十字架，輕看羞辱，如今已在上帝的右邊坐著呢。
|
|
|
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
|
|
12:3
|
他堅忍著罪人這樣地頂撞他，你們要跟他比比，免得你們心灰意冷。
|
|
|
For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
|
|
12:4
|
你們跟罪對斗、還沒有抵抗到流血呢。
|
|
|
Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
|
|
12:5
|
而你們竟忘卻了那勸勉、那和你們、如同和兒子理論的話說︰「我兒，主的管教你別小看﹔你受他指責、也別灰心﹔
|
|
|
And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
|
|
12:6
|
因為主所愛的、主就管教﹔他所承認的每一個兒子、他都鞭打」。
|
|
|
For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
|
|
12:7
|
為受管教而堅忍著吧！上帝是待你們做兒子呢。哪有兒子、而父親不管教的呢？
|
|
|
If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
|
|
12:8
|
你們若沒受眾子所與分的管教，便是私生子，不是兒子了。
|
|
|
But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
|
|
12:9
|
再者，我們有我們肉身之父管教我們，我們尚且尊敬他們，何況靈性之父，我們豈不更當順服他得活么？
|
|
|
Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
|
|
12:10
|
他們呢、是在短暫日子里照自己以為對的來管教﹔他呢、卻為了我們的益處、要使我們有分于他的聖善。
|
|
|
For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
|
|
12:11
|
一切管教、在當時似乎不是喜樂，而是憂愁﹔以后呢、卻給那些由此而受操練的人結出平安（或譯︰寧靜）的果子、就是正義的果子、來
|
|
|
Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
|

12:12
|
所以你們要把衰弱下垂的手舉起來，把癱瘓發抖的膝蓋伸直﹔
|
|
|
Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
|
|
12:13
|
使你們的腳行直的路線，使瘸子的不全脫了骱、倒重復矯健。
|
|
|
And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
|
|
12:14
|
你們要跟眾人一齊追求和平與聖化﹔非聖化，沒有人能看見主。
|
|
|
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
|
|
12:15
|
你們要小心關顧，免得有人在上帝的恩惠上趕不上﹔免得有苦恨之根長起來纏磨（申29︰18﹝17﹞七十子譯本作『有根在苦膽和毒苦中長起來』按希臘文『纏磨』一詞乃由『在苦膽中』二詞調換字母組成的）你們，許多人便由這個而被染污﹔

|
Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
|
|
12:16
|
免得有嫖妓或做男倡的、或凡俗的、像以掃，他為了一碗食品，就把自己的長子名分賣掉了。
|
|
|
Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
|
|
12:17
|
你們知道︰就是后來他想要承受祝福，雖帶淚地尋求也被棄絕，尋不著改變心意之余地。
|
|
|
For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
|
|
12:18
|
因為你們上了的并不是一個可摸觸的山︰那里有燒著的火、與昏黑幽冥和旋風、
|
|
|
For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
|
|
12:19
|
號筒的響聲、和說話之聲音的﹔當時聽見的都請求不要把話語加傳給他們﹔
|
|
|
And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
|
|
12:20
|
因為他們當不起所訓諭的話說︰「就使走獸觸著了這山，也必被扔石頭打死的」。
|
|
|
(For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
|
|
12:21
|
并且所顥現的是這么可怕，以致摩西說︰我非常畏懼而戰兢」。
|
|
|
And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)
|
|
12:22
|
不，你們上了的乃是錫安山、永活上帝的城、天上的耶路撒冷，那里有千千萬萬的天使、
|
|
|
But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
|
|
12:23
|
有名錄在天上諸首生者的歡樂盛會或總聚會（與『教會』一詞同字）、有審判主、萬人的上帝、有已得完全的義人之靈、
|
|
|
To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
|
|
12:24
|
并有新約的中保耶穌、以及洒撒之血、比亞伯說得更好的。
|
|
|
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
|
|
12:25
|
你們要謹慎，不要拒絕那向你們說話的﹔因為那些拒絕在地上傳神諭的尚且不能逃罪﹔我們若（希臘文作『這』字）轉臉不顧那從天上傳神諭的、哪能逃罪呢？
|
|
|
See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:
|
|
12:26
|
他的聲音當時搖動了地，如今卻有話應許說︰「還有一次，我不單要震動地，還要震動天」。
|
|
|
Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
|
|
12:27
|
這『還有一次』是指明被搖動之物、就是受造之物、要被遷移，使那不能被搖動的得以長存。
|
|
|
And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
|
|
12:28
|
所以我們既領受了搖動不了的國，就應當有感恩的心，拿感恩的心照上帝所喜歡的來事奉他，存著虔誠敬畏的心﹔
|
|
|
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
|
|
12:29
|
因為我們的上帝乃是才滅的火。
|
|
|
For our God is a consuming fire.
|
