5:1
|
（希伯來經卷作彌4︰14）民兵隊小姐阿，現在你聚集成隊哦！仇敵正在圍攻我們呢﹔他們用棍子擊打以色列執政者的咀巴。

|
Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.

5:2
|
（希伯來經卷作彌5︰2）但是你、伯利恆以法他阿，你在猶大諸鄉村中雖然細小，將來必有一位從你那里為我而出，在以色列中做統治者﹔他的根源出于亙古，出于往古之日。
|
|
|
But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
|
|
5:3
|
故此永恆主（希伯來文︰他）必將以色列人（希伯來文︰他們）交給敵人直到那生產的婦人生產下來﹔那時那統治（希伯來文︰他）者其余的弟兄就必返回以色列人那里。
|
|
|
Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.
|
|
5:4
|
靠著永恆主的能力、靠著他的上帝耶和華之名的威嚴、他一定站穩、作為牧民者，羊群（希伯來文︰他們）必安然居住，因為那時他必發揚光大直到地極。
|
|
|
And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.
|
|
5:5
|
這就太平、免怕亞述人了﹔因為當那亞述人進入我們的國土，踐踏我們的土地（傳統︰宮堡）時，我們就要立起七八個牧民者或七八個人中豪杰去攻擊他。
|
|
|
And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.
|
|
5:6
|
這些人必用刀劍『牧養』亞述地，必用拔出的刀（傳統︰在它的進口處）『看顧』寧錄地﹔因為當那亞述人進入我們的國土，踐踏我們的境界時，這些人必搶救（傳統︰他必搶救）我們脫離那亞述人。
|
|
|
And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders.
|
|
5:7
|
雅各余剩之民必在許多外族之民間像露水從永恆主那里降下，像甘霖降在草上﹔不仰仗著人力，不等候著人類之助。
|
|
|
And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the LORD, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men.
|
|
5:8
|
雅各余剩之民必在列國中，在許多外族之民間，像獅子在森林間的百獸中，像少壯獅子在羊群中﹔他若經過，就必踐踏撕裂，無人能搶救。
|
|
|
And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.
|
|
5:9
|
你的手舉起，必高過你敵人，你的仇敵都必被剪除。
|
|
|
Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off.
|
|
5:10
|
永恆主發神喻說﹔當那日我必從你中間剪滅你的馬匹，毀壞你的車輛﹔
|
|
|
And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and I will destroy thy chariots:
|
|
5:11
|
我必剪滅你國中的城市，翻毀你一切的保壘﹔
|
|
|
And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw down all thy strong holds:
|
|
5:12
|
我必從你手中剪除邪朮，你那里就不再有算命的﹔
|
|
|
And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers:
|
|
5:13
|
我必從你中間剪除你的雕像和崇拜柱子，你就不再敬拜你自己的手所造的﹔
|
|
|
Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands.
|
|
5:14
|
我必從你中間拔出你的亞舍拉神木，掃滅你各種的偶象（傳統︰你的城市）。
|
|
|
And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee: so will I destroy thy cities.
|
|
5:15
|
我必以怒氣烈怒中向那不聽從的列國施報罰。
|
|
|
And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard.
|
