永恆主這么說︰「摩押三番四次地悖逆，我必不收回成命，因為他將以東王的骸骨焚燒成灰。
|
|
|
Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:
|
|
2:2
|
我必降火于摩押，燒毀加略的宮堡﹔摩押必在才嚷中死去，在吶喊中、在號角聲中陣亡。
|
|
|
But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kirioth: and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet:
|
|
2:3
|
我必剪除摩押中的執政者，將它所有的首領一齊殺戮」︰這是永恆主說的。
|
|
|
And I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith the LORD.
|
|
2:4
|
永恆主這么說︰「猶大三番四次地悖逆，我必不收回成命，因為他們棄絕了永恆主的指教，不遵守他的律例﹔他們的偶像──虛謊──就是他們列祖所隨從的、使他們走迷了路了。
|
|
|
Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked:
|
|
2:5
|
我必降火于猶大，燒毀耶路撒冷的宮堡。」
|
|
|
But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.
|
|
2:6
|
永恆主這么說︰「以色列三番四次地悖逆，我必不收回成命，因為他們為了銀子而出賣義人，為了一雙鞋而出賣窮人。
|
|
|
Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;
|
|
2:7
|
他們把貧寒人的頭踐踏在地面的塵土中，將卑微人的生路撥在一邊﹔人和他父親進去找同一個女子，以褻瀆我的聖名。
|
|
|
That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane my holy name:
|
|
2:8
|
他們在各祭壇旁鋪開人所當的衣服去躺臥著，又在他們的神廟中喝受罰款之人的酒。
|
|
|
And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.
|
|
2:9
|
「然而卻是我從以色列人面前剿滅了亞摩利人的﹔亞摩利人雖如香柏樹那么高大，雖如橡樹那么強健，卻是我去上滅了他的果子，下絕了他的根的。
|
|
|
Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.
|
|
2:10
|
也是我將你們從埃及地領上來的﹔我領了你們在曠野四十年，使你們得了亞摩利人之地以為業。
|
|
|
Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.
|
|
2:11
|
我也從你們子弟中興起了神言人，從你們青年人之中興起了離俗人。以色列人哪，不是這樣么？」永恆主發神喻說。
|
|
|
And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD.
|
|
2:12
|
但是你們卻叫離俗人喝酒，又囑咐神言人說︰『不可傳講神言。』
|
|
|
But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.
|
|
2:13
|
「看吧，在你們住的地方我必壓你們，如同裝滿禾捆的車壓（意難確定）物一樣。
|
|
|
Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves.
|
|
2:14
|
輕快者逃走的路都斷絕，有大力的不能運用其力，剛勇的不能搭救自己﹔
|
|
|
Therefore the flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself:
|
|
2:15
|
操縱弓箭的不能站立著，腿輕快的不能逃脫（傳統︰搭救。今改點母音譯之），騎馬的也不能搭救自己﹔
|
|
|
Neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself: neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself.

2:16
|
勇士中最有膽力的當那日也必赤身逃跑」︰永恆主發神喻說。
|
|
|
And he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith the LORD.
|
