7:1
|
主永恆主這樣使我看見︰看哪，在替王刈割了之后、就有了再生植物﹔看哪，在再生植物剛長起來之初，永恆主正在使蝗虫形成呢。
|

|
Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king's mowings.
|
|
7:2
|
當蝗虫几乎將要吃盡了那地底青物時，我就說︰「主永恆主阿，請赦免哦！雅各怎能站立得住呢？他是這么微小阿。」
|
|
|
And it came to pass, that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.
|
|
7:3
|
永恆主對這事改變了心意﹔主永恆主就說︰「這事不發生啦。」
|
|
|
The LORD repented for this: It shall not be, saith the LORD.
|
|
7:4
|
主永恆主這樣使我看見︰看哪，主永恆主正在呼喚著才火（傳統︰以火審判），火就吞滅了廣大深淵，并且將要把耕種地段也燒毀掉。
|
|
|
Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and, behold, the Lord GOD called to contend by fire, and it devoured the great deep, and did eat up a part.
|
|
7:5
|
我就說︰「主永恆主阿，請停止哦！雅各怎能站立得住呢？他是這么微小阿。」
|
|
|
Then said I, O Lord GOD, cease, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.
|
|
7:6
|
永恆主對這事改變了心意﹔主永恆主就說︰「這事不發生啦。」
|
|
|
The LORD repented for this: This also shall not be, saith the Lord GOD.
|
|
7:7
|
主永恆主這樣使我看見︰看哪，主站立在一道牆邊（傳統︰在准繩的牆邊），手里拿著准繩。
|
|
|
Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the LORD stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand.
|
|
7:8
|
永恆主對我說︰「阿摩司阿，你看見什么？」我說︰「准繩。」主就說︰「看吧，我必吊起准繩在我人民以色列中間﹔我必不再把他們放過去。
|
|
|
And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the LORD, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:
|
|
7:9
|
以撒的邱壇必然淒涼，以色列的聖所必荒廢﹔我必起來，用刀攻擊耶羅波安的家。」
|
|
|
And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.
|
|
7:10
|
伯特利的祭司亞瑪謝打發人到以色列王耶羅波安說︰「阿摩司在以色列家中圖謀背叛了你﹔他所說的一切話、這國擔當不起。
|
|
|
Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words.
|
|
7:11
|
因為阿摩司這么說︰『耶羅波安必死于刀下，以色列民一定流亡、離開本地。』」
|
|
|
For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land.
|
|
7:12
|
亞瑪謝又對阿摩司說︰「見異象的人哪、走吧，逃往猶大地去吧！在那里找口飯吃，在那里傳神言吧！
|
|
|
Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there:
|
|
7:13
|
在伯特利才，可別再傳神言了﹔因為這里有王的聖所，這里有王國的宮殿。」
|
|
|
But prophesy not again any more at Bethel: for it is the king's chapel, and it is the king's court.
|
|
7:14
|
阿摩司回答亞瑪謝說︰「我不是神言人，也不是神言人的弟子﹔我乃是牧人，又是整理無花果樹桑樹的﹔
|
|
|
Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit:
|

7:15
|
永恆主選取了我、使我不趕羊﹔永恆主對我說︰「你去向我人民以色列傳神言。』
|
|
|
And the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.
|
|
7:16
|
「如今呢、你要聽永恆主的話。你說︰『不可傳神言攻擊以色列，不可發神言攻擊撒家。』
|
|
|
Now therefore hear thou the word of the LORD: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac.
|
|
7:17
|
故此永恆主這么說︰『你的妻子必在城中做妓女，你的兒女必倒斃于刀下，你的土地必被測量繩所瓜分﹔你自己呢、必在不潔淨之地死掉，以色列民一定流亡、離開本地。』」
|
|
|
Therefore thus saith the LORD; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land.
