10:1

以色列是茂盛的葡萄樹、能結果子的﹔他的果子越多，他的祭壇就越增多﹔他的地土越肥美，他就越使崇拜柱子美麗。

|
Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images.
|
|
10:2
|
他們心懷二意，如今是必須擔負罪罰的。永恆主必擰斷他們的祭壇，毀壞他們的崇拜柱子。
|
|
|
Their heart is divided; now shall they be found faulty: he shall break down their altars, he shall spoil their images.
|
|
10:3
|
因為他們總是說︰「我們沒有王，因為我們不敬畏永恆主，王嘛，他能為我們作什么？
|
|
|
For now they shall say, We have no king, because we feared not the LORD; what then should a king do to us?
|
|
10:4
|
嘿，講空話，起假誓，立盟約！莫怪司法（意難確定）如毒草、發生于田間的犁溝中呀！
|
|
|
They have spoken words, swearing falsely in making a covenant: thus judgment springeth up as hemlock in the furrows of the field.
|
|
10:5
|
撒瑪利亞的居民必因伯亞文的牛犢而恐懼戰兢﹔拜牛犢的人民必為牛犢而悲哀﹔其拜偶像的祭司必為牛犢而哀悼﹔他們必為它的光耀而『快樂！』（『快樂』與下『流亡』讀音相似）因為那光耀已流亡去了。

The inhabitants of Samaria shall fear because of the calves of Bethaven: for the people thereof shall mourn over it, and the priests thereof that rejoiced on it, for the glory thereof, because it is departed from it.

10:6
|
連那東西也必被帶到亞述去，做貢物獻給那大王（傳統︰王、他要競爭）。以法蓮必得到羞慚，以色列必因他的偶象（傳統︰計謀）而慚愧。
|
|
|
It shall be also carried unto Assyria for a present to king Jareb: Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.
|
|
10:7
|
撒瑪利亞嘛、她的王必滅沒，像水片在水面上。
|
|
|
As for Samaria, her king is cut off as the foam upon the water.
|
|
10:8
|
伯亞文（諷刺指著『伯特利』）的邱壇必被毀壞，以色列罪惡之淵藪必遭破毀﹔荊條和蒺藜必長起在他們的祭壇上。他們必對大山說︰『遮蓋我們哦！』必對小山說︰『倒在我們身上哦！』

|
The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.
|
|
10:9
|
以色列阿，從基比亞的日子以來、你就時常犯罪了。以色列人（原文︰他們）仍然在那里停留著﹔難道戰禍就不能在基比亞趕上他們么？對驕橫之輩
|
|
|
O Israel, thou hast sinned from the days of Gibeah: there they stood: the battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity did not overtake them.
|
|
10:10
|
我必來（傳統︰我愿意時。或不點竄而譯『我必隨意』）懲罰他們。他們給雙重罪孽捆綁著，列族之民必聚集來攻擊他們。
|
|
|
It is in my desire that I should chastise them; and the people shall be gathered against them, when they shall bind themselves in their two furrows.
|
|
10:11
|
以法蓮是馴良的母牛犢，喜愛 才﹔我乃將軛加在（經點竄翻譯的），它肥美的脖子上﹔使以法蓮拉套（此處多︰『猶大』一詞，姑略之）耕田，使雅各為自己耙地。
|
|
|
And Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught, and loveth to tread out the corn; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.
|
|
10:12
|
你們要為自己播種義氣，要收割忠愛之果子（傳統︰依照分量），要耙松你們的休耕地﹔因為現在正是尋永恆主的時候，等他臨到，下義氣之雨在你們身上。
|
|
|
Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
|
|
10:13
|
你們耕種的是邪惡，收割的是棋暴，吃的是謊話之果子﹔因為你倚靠你的戰車（傳統︰你自己所走的路線），你仰賴你勇士之眾多，
|
|
|
Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.
|
|
10:14
|
因此在你眾族人中必起了才嚷，你一切有堡壘的城必被毀壞，就如沙勒幔在爭戰的日子毀壞伯亞比勒，有做母親的跟兒女一同被摔死在那樣。
|
|
|
Therefore shall a tumult arise among thy people, and all thy fortresses shall be spoiled, as Shalman spoiled Betharbel in the day of battle: the mother was dashed in pieces upon her children.
|
|
10:15
|
這樣、以色列家（傳統︰伯特利）阿，因你們之罪大惡極，你們也必受到這樣的遭遇﹔在風暴中（傳統︰到了黎明）、以色列的王必全然被剪除。
|
|
|
So shall Bethel do unto you because of your great wickedness: in a morning shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off.
