11:1

以色列年幼時，我就愛了他，就呼叫我兒子出埃及（或譯︰自從埃及以來我就呼叫我兒子）。

When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.
|
|
11:2
|
但我（傳統︰他們）越發呼叫他們，他們越發離開了我（傳統︰他們），去向諸巴力（即︰外國人的神）獻祭，給眾雕像熏祭品。
|
|
|
As they called them, so they went from them: they sacrificed unto Baalim, and burned incense to graven images.
|
|
11:3
|
然而卻是我教以法蓮學步的﹔我（傳統︰他）用膀臂抱著他們，他們卻不知道是我醫治了他們。
|
|
|
I taught Ephraim also to go, taking them by their arms; but they knew not that I healed them.
|
|
11:4
|
我用人情之繩子牽著他們，用愛之繩索引領他們﹔我待他們就像人抱起嬰兒到胸前（經文殘缺，意難確定）﹔屈身就著他們、去才養他們（傳統作『不』字，原為第五節第一個字。今稍點竄作『他』字，而連于此）

I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid meat unto them.

11:5
|
他們必回歸埃及地﹔亞述必做他們的王﹔因為他們拒絕回來歸我。
|
|
|
He shall not return into the land of Egypt, but the Assyrian shall be his king, because they refused to return.
|
|
11:6
|
刀劍必在他們的城中飛舞，毀壞他們的門閂，在他們的營寨里吞滅他們（傳統︰吞滅由他們自己設的計謀）。
|
|
|
And the sword shall abide on his cities, and shall consume his branches, and devour them, because of their own counsels.
|
|
11:7
|
我的人民偏要背道離開我﹔故此他們被派去負軛，沒有人能給除去（本節經文甚為殘缺，意難確定）。
|
|
|
And my people are bent to backsliding from me: though they called them to the most High, none at all would exalt him.
|
|
11:8
|
以法蓮哪，我怎能舍棄你阿！以色列阿，我怎能把你交出阿！我怎能使你如押瑪！使你如洗扁哪！我的心在我里面翻轉著，我憐愛之情一直熱起來。
|
|
|
How shall I give thee up, Ephraim? how shall I deliver thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? how shall I set thee as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together.
|
|
11:9
|
我必不發烈怒，必不再毀滅以法蓮﹔因為我乃是上帝，不是世人﹔我在你們中間是至聖者﹔我并不是來才滅的（傳統︰我必不進城）。
|
|
|
I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.

11:10
|
永恆主必像獅子吼叫﹔他的子民必跟著他而行﹔他一吼叫，他們就戰戰兢兢從西方趕來。
|
|
|
They shall walk after the LORD: he shall roar like a lion: when he shall roar, then the children shall tremble from the west.
|
|
11:11
|
他們必像鳥兒擊拍翅膀從埃及趕來，像鴿子從亞述地來到﹔我必使他們返回（傳統︰住）自己家里︰永恆主發神諭說。
|
|
|
They shall tremble as a bird out of Egypt, and as a dove out of the land of Assyria: and I will place them in their houses, saith the LORD.
|
|
11:12
|
（希伯來經卷作何12︰1）以法蓮用謊話圍繞著我，以色列用詭詐包圍著我﹔猶大對上帝還是刁頑，對可信可靠的至聖者還是任性。
|
|
|
Ephraim compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints.
