9:1

他向我耳中大聲喊叫說︰「這城的行政官哪，你們要走近前來，各人手里拿著他那毀滅人的器械。」
|

|
He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.
|
|
9:2
|
忽然有六個人從朝北的上門那路向而來，各人手里拿著他那打碎人的器械﹔其中有一個人身穿細麻服裝，腰間帶著墨盒子。他們進來，站在銅祭壇旁。
|
|
|
And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.
|

9:3
|
以色列之上帝的榮耀從它停駐的基路伯之上上去、到殿的門限那里﹔上帝就召喚那身穿細麻服裝、腰間帶著墨盒子的人。
|
|
|
And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side;
|

9:4
|
（傳統有︰永恆主）對他說︰「你去走遍城中、耶路撒冷中間，在那些為了城中所行可厭惡的事而嘆息唉哼的人額上畫記刀字的記號。」
|
|
|
And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
|

9:5
|
我聽得到他對其余的人說︰「要跟著他走遍城里，以行擊殺﹔你們的眼不可顧惜，你們不要可憐。
|
|
|
And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:
|
|
9:6
|
要將年老的、年壯的、和處女、幼小的和婦女、全都殺掉滅盡，從聖所殺起﹔但凡有刀字記號的、你們可別觸害著。」于是他們從聖殿面前做長老的人殺起。
|
|
|
Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
|
|
9:7
|
他對他們說︰「要使這殿沾上污穢，使院中充滿了被刺死的人﹔你們只管出去！在城中進行擊殺（傳統︰他們就出去，在城中進行擊殺）。」
|
|
|
And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.
|
|
9:8
|
他們去擊殺的時候，只有我一人被留下，我就臉伏于地，說︰「哀阿，主永恆主阿，你將你的烈怒傾倒于耶路撒冷，難道要將以色列余剩之民都滅盡么？」
|
|
|
And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?
|
|
9:9
|
他對我說︰「以色列家和猶大家的罪孽極而又極之大，遍地滿有流血的事，城里滿了冤屈，因為他們說︰『永恆主已經離棄了這地了！永恆主看不見我們！』
|
|
|
Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.
|
|
9:10
|
故此我也這樣﹔我的眼必不顧惜，我必不可憐﹔我必將他們所行的還報與他們頭上。」
|
|
|
And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head.
|
|
9:11
|
那身穿細麻服裝、腰間帶著墨盒子的人將這事回覆說︰「我已經照你所吩咐我的行了。」
|
|
|
And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.
