7:1
|
有出于永恆主而傳與耶利米的話說︰
|
|
|
The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
|
|
7:2
|
「你要站在永恆主之殿的門口，在那里宣布這些話說︰你們進這些門來敬拜永恆主的一切猶大人要聽永恆主的話。
|
|
|
Stand in the gate of the LORD's house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD.
|
|
7:3
|
萬軍之永恆主以色列之上帝這么說︰你們改善所行所作的，我就跟你們在住這地方。
|
|
|
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.
|
|
7:4
|
你們不要倚靠虛假的話，說︰『這些房屋是永恆主的殿堂，是永恆主的殿堂，是永恆主的殿堂。』
|
|
|
Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these.
|
|
7:5
|
「因為你們若澈底改善你們所行所作的，你們若在人與鄰舍之間真地施行公平，
|
|
|
For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour;
|
|
7:6
|
不欺壓寄居的、或孤兒寡婦，不在這地方流無辜人的血，不隨從別的神而陷害自己，
|
|
|
If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:
|
|
7:7
|
我就跟你們同住這地方，在我從古時所賜給你們列祖的地居住到永遠。
|
|
|
Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.
|
|
7:8
|
「但是你看，你們竟然倚靠虛假的話無所受益。
|
|
|
Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.
|
|
7:9
|
怎么啦！你們偷盜、凶殺、奸淫、起假誓、熏祭獻給巴力（即︰外國人的神），隨從素不認識之別的神，
|
|
|
Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not;
|
|
7:10
|
你們又來到這稱為我名下的殿，站在我面前，說︰『我們得救了！』──無他，只為的是要繼續行那些可厭惡的事罷了！是不是？
|
|
|
And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?
|
|
7:11
|
這稱為我名下的殿、在你們眼中看就作為凶暴人的洞穴么？你瞧著吧，我都看見了︰這是永恆主發神諭說的。
|
|
|
Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.
|
|
7:12
|
你請到我的地方，就是那在示羅的，我起先使我的名居住的所在，去察看我因我人民以色列的邪惡對那地所行的怎么樣。
|
|
|
But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.
|
|
7:13
|
現在呢、永恆主發神諭說，照你們行了這一切事，我也曾告誡了你們，又及時又屢次地告誡，你們卻不聽﹔我呼喚你們，你們卻不應，
|
|
|
And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not;
|
|
7:14
|
因此我必待這殿，就是這稱為我名下的，你們所倚靠的，我必待這地方，就是我所賜給你們、和你們列祖的，像我從前待示羅一樣。
|
|
|
Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.
|
|
7:15
|
我必將你們丟掉離開我面前，正如丟掉你們的族弟兄（傳統︰眾族弟兄）以法蓮所有的后裔一樣。
|
|
|
And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim.
|
|
7:16
|
「你呢、也不要為這人民祈禱，不要為他們舉喊求或禱告聲，不要向我為他們代求，因為我不聽你。
|
|
|
Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.
|
|
7:17
|
他們在猶大城市中和耶路撒冷街上所行的、你沒有看見么？
|
|
|
Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
|
|
7:18
|
兒子們撿柴，父老們燒火，婦女們摶面作祭餅，獻給天后，又向別的神澆奠祭，以惹我發怒。
|
|
|
The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.
|
|
7:19
|
永恆主發神諭說︰他們惹怒的哪里是我呢？豈不是惹了他們自己的禍，為要以滿臉慚愧么？
|
|
|
Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?
|
|
7:20
|
因此主永恆主這么說︰看吧，我的怒氣我的烈怒必倒在這地方、倒在人和牲口身上、倒在田野的樹木和地土的果實上﹔怒火必著起來，不能熄滅。」
|
|
|
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.
|
|
7:21
|
萬軍之永恆主以色列之上帝這么說︰「你們盡管將你們的熏祭加在你們的平安祭上、吃肉吧。
|
|
|
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.
|
|
7:22
|
因為我將你們列祖從埃及地領出來那一天，關于熏祭和平安祭的事我并沒有提說，也沒有吩咐他們呀﹔
|
|
|
For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:
|
|
7:23
|
我只吩咐他們以下這一件，說︰『你們要聽我的聲音，我就做你們的上帝，你們就做我的子民﹔你們要行我所吩咐你們的一切道路，好得平安順遂。』
|
|
|
But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.
|
|
7:24
|
但他們卻不聽從，不傾耳以聽，竟憑著自己的計謀，隨自己頑強之壞心思而行，向后而不向前。
|
|
|
But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.
|
|
7:25
|
自從你們列祖出埃及地那一天到今日，我差遣我的眾仆人神言人去找你們，我（傳統此處有︰白日）及時而屢次地差遣他們，
|
|
|
Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:
|
|
7:26
|
但這人民卻不聽從，不傾耳以聽，竟硬著脖子作壞事，比他們列祖更厲害。
|
|
|
Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers.
|
|
7:27
|
「你要將這一切話告訴他們，雖則他們不聽從﹔你要呼喚他們，盡管他們不應﹔
|
|
|
Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.
|
|
7:28
|
你要對他們說︰『這就是不聽永恆主他們之上帝的聲音，不接受管教的國﹔忠信已經滅沒，被割斷離開他們的口了。
|
|
|
But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the LORD their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.
|
|
7:29
|
耶路撒冷阿，把頭發剪下來，丟掉吧﹔在無草木的高處上舉哀吧﹔因為永恆主棄絕擯棄了他所惱怒的世代了。』
|
|
|
Cut off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.
|
|
7:30
|
「因為猶大人行我所看為壞的事，把他們可憎之像立在稱為我名下的殿中，來污瀆它︰這是永恆主發神諭說的。
|
|
|
For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it.
|
|
7:31
|
他們筑了陀斐特的邱壇、就是那在欣嫩子平谷中的，去用火焚燒自己的兒女︰這并不是我所吩咐的，也不是我心里所起意過的。
|
|
|
And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.
|
|
7:32
|
因此你看吧，日子必到，永恆主發神諭說，這地方必不再稱為陀斐特或欣嫩子平谷，乃要稱為殺戮之平谷﹔因為人必在陀斐特埋葬死人，因為沒有的地方。
|
|
|
Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place.
|
|
7:33
|
這人民的尸體必給空中的飛鳥和地上的野獸做食物，也沒有人哄走。
|
|
|
And the carcases of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away.
|
|
7:34
|
那時我必使猶大城市中和耶路撒冷街上歡躍的聲音和喜樂的聲音、新郎的聲音和新婦的聲音、都止息住﹔因為這地必變為荒廢之處。
|
|
|
Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate.
