以色列家阿，聽永恆主對你們所說的話哦！
|
|
|
Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:
|
|
10:2
|
永恆主這么說︰「列國所行的路你們不要學著行，也不要因天象而懼伯，像（傳統︰因為）列國因這些事而懼怕一樣。
|
|
|
Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
|
|
10:3
|
因為萬族之民的規例都是虛空︰因為偶像不過是一棵樹、人從樹林中砍下來，匠人的手用斧子制成的作品。
|
|
|
For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
|
|
10:4
|
人用金銀妝飾它，用釘子和錘子釘穩它，使它不動搖。
|
|
|
They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
|
|
10:5
|
它們好像瓜田里的稻草人，不能說話，必須被扛著，因為不能跨步走。你們不要怕它們﹔它們不能降禍，也無力降福。」
|
|
|
They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
|
|
10:6
|
永恆主阿，沒有誰能比得上你﹔你極大，你的名也大有能力。
|
|
|
Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.
|
|
10:7
|
萬國的王阿，誰不敬畏你呢？敬畏你很合宜﹔因為在列國所有的智慧人當中，在他們一切王權的尊榮中，也沒有誰能比得上你。
|
|
|
Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.
|
|
10:8
|
拜偶像的人一概是畜類、是愚頑，是虛無所指教的︰那神不過是木頭，
|
|
|
But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock is a doctrine of vanities.
|
|
10:9
|
其妝飾從他施帶來的銀子錘成片，也有從烏法來的金子，都是匠人的作品，銀匠的手藝﹔其服裝是藍紫色、紫紅色料，都是巧匠的作品。
|
|
|
Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the workman, and of the hands of the founder: blue and purple is their clothing: they are all the work of cunning men.
|
|
10:10
|
惟獨永恆主才是真上帝﹔他是永活的上帝，是永遠的王︰他一發怒，大地都震動﹔他一生氣，列國都抵受不住。
|
|
|
But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.
|
|
10:11
|
你們要對他們這么說︰「那沒有造天造地的神必從地上、從天下、被除滅。（這一節是亞蘭文）。」
|
|
|
Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.
|
|
10:12
|
是永恆主用他的能力造了大地，用他的智慧建立了世界，用他的聰展開了諸天。
|
|
|
He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.
|
|
10:13
|
他一發聲，空中便有多水之激動喧囂﹔他使云霧從地盡邊上騰﹔他給霖雨造閃電，又從他府庫中吹出風來。
|
|
|
When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.
|
|
10:14
|
人都等于畜類，毫無知識﹔銀匠都因雕像而慚愧﹔因為鑄象都是虛假，里面并無氣息。
|
|
|
Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.
|
|
10:15
|
偶像簡直是虛無，是惹人嘲笑的杰作！到受察罰時、一定滅亡。
|
|
|
They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.
|
|
10:16
|
那做雅各業分的并不像這些﹔因為他是形成萬有的﹔以色列是他產業的族派﹔萬軍之耶和華是他的名。
|
|
|
The portion of Jacob is not like them: for he is the former of all things; and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: The LORD of hosts is his name.
|
|
10:17
|
居于圍困中的城阿，從地上收拾起你的包袱吧！
|
|
|
Gather up thy wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress.
|
|
10:18
|
因為永恆主這么說︰「看吧，這一陣時候、我必將此地的居民甩出去，叫他們受困迫。使他們有心得。」
|
|
|
For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this once, and will distress them, that they may find it so.
|
|
10:19
|
因我的破爛、我有禍阿！我受擊傷很厲害。但是我說︰「這究竟是我的創痍，我必須忍受。」
|
|
|
Woe is me for my hurt! my wound is grievous: but I said, Truly this is a grief, and I must bear it.
|
|
10:20
|
我的帳棚毀壞﹔我的繩子都被扯斷﹔我的兒女都離開我而出去，沒有了﹔再沒有人搭我的帳棚，沒有人挂起我的幔子了。
|
|
|
My tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are broken: my children are gone forth of me, and they are not: there is none to stretch forth my tent any more, and to set up my curtains.
|
|
10:21
|
因為牧民者竟成了畜類，連永恆主、他們也沒有求問﹔因此他們不得亨通，他們的羊群（原文︰牧場）都四散。
|
|
|
For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.
|
|
10:22
|
聽阿，有風聲！看哪，敵人來了！有大騷動從北地而來，要使猶大城市變成荒涼，作為野狗的住處。
|
|
|
Behold, the noise of the bruit is come, and a great commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, and a den of dragons.
|
|
10:23
|
永恆主阿，我曉得人的行程不由自己的﹔人不能行走而定（行走而定︰改點母音翻譯的）自己的腳步。
|
|
|
O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
|
|
10:24
|
永恆主阿，懲罰我，但要合乎常度，不要氣忿忿地，恐怕你會減少我的人數。
|
|
|
O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.
|
|
10:25
|
愿你將你的烈怒倒在不認識你、的外國，和不呼求你名的民族，因為他們吞吃了雅各，吞吃了他、還滅盡他，使他的庄舍荒涼。
|
|
|
Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name: for they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate.
