11:1
|
從耶西的樹墩子必生出一根枝條來，從他的根必發生（傳統︰結果實）一條嫩枝子。
|
|
|
And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
|
|
11:2
|
永恆主的靈必住在他身上，就是智慧和明達之靈，謀略和能力之靈，認識和敬畏永恆主的靈。
|
|
|
And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
|
|
11:3
|
他也樂聞敬畏永恆主的香氣。他行審判、不憑眼見，他斷是非，不憑耳聞﹔
|
|
|
And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
|
|
11:4
|
他義氣為貧寒人申正義，以正直判斷國中的困苦人（傳統︰卑微人）﹔他以口中的之杖擊打強橫人（或譯︰地），以咀里的氣殺死惡人。
|
|
|
But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
|
|
11:5
|
公義必做他的腰間的圍帶，忠信必做他脅下的束巾。
|
|
|
And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
|
|
11:6
|
豺狼必和綿羊羔同住，豹子必和山羊羔同臥﹔牛犢必同少壯獅子作伴（傳統︰肥畜）﹔小孩子要牽著它們。
|
|
|
The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
|
|
11:7
|
牛必和熊同吃﹔它們的崽必一同躺著﹔獅子必吃禾槁、像牛一樣。
|
|
|
And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
|
|
11:8
|
吃奶的嬰兒在虺蛇的洞口斗著樂，斷奶的孩子必在毒蛇的穴外學步（傳統︰指導他的手）。
|
|
|
And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
|
|
11:9
|
在我的聖山地遍處、這一切都不傷人，不毀物﹔因為人之認識永恆主、必充滿了大地，如同水彌漫著洋海一般。
|
|
|
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
|
|
11:10
|
當那日子、耶西的根所生的、那要立作萬族之民的旌旗的、列國人必尋求他﹔他的安居所必大有榮耀。
|
|
|
And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
|
|
11:11
|
當那日子、主必再舉（傳統︰第二次）手，擁有他自己的余民，就是從亞述、從埃及、從巴忒羅、從古實、從以攔、從示拿和哈馬、以及海邊的沿岸各地、所剩下來的。
|
|
|
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
|
|
11:12
|
他必向列國豎起旌旗，聚集以色列被趕散的人，從地的四角招集被分散的猶大人。
|
|
|
And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
|
|
11:13
|
以法蓮的嫉妒就必消逝，猶大敵對之恨就必被切斷﹔以法蓮就不嫉妒猶大，猶大也不敵以法蓮。
|
|
|
The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
|
|
11:14
|
他們必并肩向西飛扑非利士人，一同擄掠東方人﹔以東和摩押必束手投降，亞捫人必順服他們。
|
|
|
But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.
|
|
11:15
|
永恆主必使埃及的海汊成了旱地（傳統︰毀滅歸神）﹔他必用熱（或譯︰強）風在大河之上掄手，擊打它，使它分為七條溪河，讓人可以穿鞋過去。
|
|
|
And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod.
|
|
11:16
|
必有一條大路讓主的余民、就是從亞述剩下來的余民、走回來，正如以色列從埃及地上來的日子、有一條給以色列走回來的一樣。
|
|
|
And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.
