亞摩斯的兒子以賽亞所見到關于巴比倫的神托之言。

|
The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.
|
|
13:2
|
你們要在掃光的山豎起旌旗，向戰士揚聲招手，叫他們進入權貴之門。
|
|
|
Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.
|
|
13:3
|
我吩咐我那些獻身軍人﹔我招呼了我的勇士，我那些耀武揚威的高傲者，來執行我憤怒中所要作的。
|
|
|
I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.
|
|
13:4
|
聽阿！山間有大眾喧嘩的聲音呢！好像許多眾民的嘈雜﹔聽阿！有列國喧鬧的響聲呢！有聚攏來的列邦之哄嚷。萬軍之永恆主在點閱著軍隊，准備著赴戰。
|
|
|
The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.
|
|
13:5
|
他們從遠地而來，從天盡邊來到，就是永恆主跟他義惱的軍器、要毀滅這全轄地。
|
|
|
They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.
|
|
13:6
|
哀號哦！因為永恆主的日子臨近了﹔這日子必來到，就像毀滅出于毀滅（原文加︰永恆主）者。
|
|
|
Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
|
|
13:7
|
故此人的手都必發軟，人都必膽戰心驚﹔
|
|
|
Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:
|
|
13:8
|
他們都要驚惶失措。疼痛和劇疼必將他們抓住﹔他們必翻騰絞痛、像生產的婦人一樣﹔他們相顧駭愕，臉上都顯著劇疼（傳統︰火焰）的氣色。
|
|
|
And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.
|
|
13:9
|
看吧，永恆主的日子來到，必有殘忍、震怒和烈怒，使這地荒涼，并從其中除滅重罪的人。
|
|
|
Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
|
|
13:10
|
天上的眾星群宿都不發光﹔日頭一出就變黑暗，月亮也不放光。
|
|
|
For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
|
|
13:11
|
我必因其壞透而察罰世界，因其罪孽而刑罰惡人﹔我必使傲慢人的狂傲止息，使強橫人的驕傲卑抑下來。
|
|
|
And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
|
|
13:12
|
我必使人比瀅淨的金還少，使人比俄斐的金更稀罕。
|
|
|
I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
|
|
13:13
|
因此在萬軍之永恆主的震怒中，當他發怒的日子，天必震動（傳統︰我必使天震動），地必搖撼、離其本位。
|
|
|
Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.
|
|
13:14
|
人必像被追趕的瞪羚羊，又如綿羊，無人收聚，各歸向本族之民，各逃到本地。
|
|
|
And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land.
|
|
13:15
|
凡被找到的，必被刺死﹔凡被追上的、必倒斃于刀下。
|
|
|
Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword.
|
|
13:16
|
他們的嬰孩必在他們眼前被摔死﹔他們的房屋必被搶掠﹔他們的妻子必被強奸。
|
|
|
Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.
|
|
13:17
|
看吧，我必激動瑪代人來攻擊他們﹔瑪代人不看重銀子，不喜愛金子。
|
|
|
Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.
|
|
13:18
|
少年人弓、他們必折斷（傳統︰弓必摔碎少年人），婦人所生的（原文︰腹中的果子）、他們不憐憫，他們的眼不顧惜小孩。
|
|
|
Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children.
|
|
13:19
|
巴比倫、列國中最華美的，迦勒底人所炫耀為最燦爛的，必像上帝之傾覆所多瑪和蛾摩拉一樣。
|
|
|
And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.
|
|
13:20
|
那里必永無居民，世世代代無人居住﹔游牧民族不在那里搭帳棚﹔牧羊的之人不使羊群躺在那里。
|
|
|
It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.
|
|
13:21
|
躺在那里的、只有住在曠野的猛獸﹔﹔滿了他們房屋的、只有吼叫陰森的動物﹔鴕鳥住在那里﹔野山羊在那里跳躍。
|
|
|
But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there.
|
|
13:22
|
豺狼必在他們的衛所（傳統︰寡婦）里呼號﹔野狗必在豪華的宮殿中吼叫﹔其時候將到了﹔其日期必不久延。
|
|
|
And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.
