17:1

耶穌對他的門徒說︰「要使絆跌的事不來、是不可能的﹔由他而來的、那人有禍阿！

Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!

17:2

假使一塊磨石挂在他的脖子上，拋在海里，這倒比他把這些微小者之一絆跌了還上算呢！

It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

17:3

你們要自己注意﹔倘若你弟兄犯了罪，你可以規勸他﹔他若悔改，你就饒恕他。

Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

17:4

倘若他一天七次得罪了你，又七次回轉過來，對你說︰『我悔改了』，你也該饒恕他。」

And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

17:5

使徒對主說︰「給我們增加信心吧。」

And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

17:6

主說︰「假使你們有信心像一粒芥菜種，就使對這棵黑桑樹說，『你當連根都拔起來，栽在海里』，它也是會聽從你們的。

And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

17:7

「你們中間誰有仆人犁田或牧養牲口、從田地里來，他卻對仆人說︰『你即刻過來坐席』，

But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?

17:8

而不對他說︰『你豫備我所要吃的飯，并且束上帶子來伺候我﹔等我吃喝完了，然后你才吃喝』呢？

And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?

17:9

仆人作了所受吩咐的事，主人還給他道謝么？

Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.

17:10

你們也是如此︰你們既作完了所吩咐你們的一切事，只好說︰『我們是無用的仆人，只作了我們所應該作的罷了。』」

So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

17:11

耶穌往耶路撒冷去的時候，經過撒瑪利亞和加利利的中間。

And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

17:12

正在進入一個村子，有十個患麻瘋屬之病的人迎面而來，遠遠地站著。

And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:

17:13

他們提高了聲音說︰「耶穌老師阿，憐恤我們吧！」

And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

17:14

耶穌看見了，就對他們說︰「你們去，把本身指給祭司看。」他們去的時候，就得潔淨了。

And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

17:15

其中有一個見自己得了醫治，就回來，大聲將榮耀歸與上帝，

And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

17:16

俯伏在耶穌腳旁，感謝他﹔這人是個撒瑪利亞人。

And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

17:17

耶穌應時地說︰「得潔淨的不是十個么？那九個在哪里呢？

And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

17:18

除了這外族人，不見有別人回來，把榮耀獻與上帝么？（或譯︰上帝呀）

There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

17:19

就對他說︰「起來，走吧﹔你的信救了你了！」

And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

17:20

耶穌被法利賽人詰問、上帝的國几時要來到，就回答他們說︰「上帝國之來，并不是以守候窺察而看到的。

And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

17:21

人也不能說︰『看哪，在這里』，或是『在那里！』因為上帝的國、你看、就在你們中間（或譯︰心里）呢。」

Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

17:22

耶穌就對門徒說︰「日子必到，那時你們巴不得有看見人子日子的一天，卻不得以看見。

And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.

17:23

人必對你們說︰『看哪，在那里』﹔『看哪，在這里』﹔你們不要出去，也不要追遂。

And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.

17:24

因為閃電怎樣從天這邊一閃，直照到天那邊，人子在他的日子也必這樣。

For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

17:25

只是他必須先受許多苦，又被這世代棄絕。

But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.

17:26

在挪亞的日子怎樣，在人子的日子也必怎樣﹔

And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

17:27

人吃喝嫁娶，直到挪亞進樓船那一天，洪水一來，把他們都滅了。

They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

17:28

又好像在羅得的日子樣﹔人吃喝買賣，栽種建造﹔

Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

17:29

但羅得從所多瑪出來那一天，上帝從天上下火雨跟硫磺雨，把他們都滅了。

But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

17:30

在人子顯示出來的日子也必如此。

Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

17:31

當那日子，人在房頂上、而家具在屋子里的、不要下來取﹔那在田地里的、也照樣不要返回。

In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

17:32

你們要記得羅得的妻子。

Remember Lot's wife.

17:33

凡尋求保全自己性命的、必失掉性命﹔凡失掉性命的、必保全性命以活著。

Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

17:34

我告訴你們，當這一夜、兩個人在一個床上，必有一個被接去，那另一個被撇下。

I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

17:35

兩個女人在一處推磨﹔必有一個被接去，那另一個被撇下。

Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

17:36

（有古卷加︰兩個人在田地里，必有一個被接去，那另一個被撇下）」

Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

17:37

門徒應時問他說︰「主阿，在哪里呢？」他對他們說︰「尸身在哪里，兀鷹也必聚在哪里。」

And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
