2:1

「如今眾祭司阿，這命令是給你們的。

And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.

2:2

你們若不聽，若不放在心上、不將榮耀歸與我的名，萬軍之永恆主說，我就降咒詛于你們中間﹔我必咒詛你們的福分﹔事實上、因你們不放在心上，我已經給以咒詛了。

If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.

2:3

看吧，我必叱責你們這種類，把你們節期祭牲的糞抹在你們臉上，（希伯來文作『他』字）就把你們拋到處罰地（希伯來文作『它』字）去。

Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.

2:4

你們便知道是我傳了這命令給你們，使我的約、跟利未立的、得以長存︰這是萬軍之永恆主說的。

And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.

2:5

我的約跟他立的︰另一方面有生命與福利──我將這兩樣賜給他︰另一方面有敬畏的心──他敬畏我，畏懼我的名。

My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.

2:6

對的禮節規矩在他口中，不義的話不在他咀里﹔他以平和正直與我同行，使許多人回轉、離開罪孽。

The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.

2:7

因為祭司咀里應當保存著知識，人也應該從他口中尋求禮節規矩，因為他是萬軍之永恆主的使者。

For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.

2:8

但你們卻偏離了正路，使許多人在禮節規矩上跌倒﹔你們破壞了我與利未所立的約︰永恆主說。

But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.

2:9

故此我、我也使你們被眾民藐視，看為下賤，因為你們沒有謹守我的道路，竟在禮節規矩上瞻徇情面。」

Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law.

2:10

豈不是我們都有同一位父么？豈不是同一位上帝創造了我們么？為什么我們各人對弟兄不忠實，瀆犯了上帝與我們列祖所立的約呢？

Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?

2:11

猶大人不忠實，遂致在以色列和耶路撒冷之中行了可厭惡的事﹔因為猶大人褻瀆了永恆主之聖別、就是永恆主所愛的，去娶事奉外人之神的女子為妻。

Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god.

2:12

愿行這事的、無論是鼓動的、是附和的、連那獻供物給萬軍之永恆主的、愿永恆主都把他從雅各的帳棚（或譯︰家）剪除掉。

The LORD will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto the LORD of hosts.

2:13

以下這樣的事你們又行了。你們將妻子的眼淚哭泣和唉哼、遮蓋了永恆主的祭壇，因為永恆主不再垂顧供物，不再喜悅從你們手中收納。

And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.

2:14

你們還問說︰「為什么呢？」那是因為永恆主在你和你幼年所娶的妻之間作証婚者阿︰她是你的配偶，是你盟約之妻，你卻對她不忠實。

Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

2:15

一個還剩有靈性的人是不會這樣行的。那一個是誰？就是一個尋求屬神之種的阿（經文殘缺，意難確定）。故此要謹守你們的靈性，不可對你幼年所娶的妻不忠實。

And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

2:16

因為永恆主以色列之上帝說︰「我（傳統︰他）恨惡休妻的事，也恨惡人以強暴取得妻子（希伯來文作『遮蓋服裝』）」，萬軍之永恆主說。故此要謹守你們的靈性，不可有不忠實的行為。」

For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.

2:17

你們用你們的話使永恆主厭倦了﹔你們還說︰「我們在什么事情上使他厭倦呢？」那就是因為你們說︰「凡行壞事的、在永恆主看來都是善，他并且喜愛他們。」或是說︰「公義的上帝在哪里呢？」

Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?
